Guesthouse vacation rentals in Sedgefield

We recently stayed at Cherry's guest house/lodge, which is a nicely maintained property with a clean and well-equipped common kitchen. However, our experience was marred by a booking mix-up. Despite having paid for two rooms for the night, we were only allocated one. We presented our receipt as proof, but unfortunately, the issue wasn't resolved, and our request for a refund for the second room was declined. We're still unsure whether the error was on Airbnb's side or Cherry's, but we wanted to caution future guests to double-check their bookings to avoid similar issues. While Cherry's property has its strengths, we hope that she will take steps to prevent such misunderstandings and ensure a smoother experience for her guests.

Pieter was a friendly host that made sure that we felt at home immediately. He accommodated us although we arrived later than expected. I was pleasantly surprised when he offered to spray the dew off our car to ensure our safe continuation of our roadtrip. Thanks again Pieter.

The place was cosy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The accommodation was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

De bedoeling was om in Mosselbaai te slapen maar we kwamen hier terecht, en dat was geen straf. Een prachtig huis met een hele mooie tuin inclusief zwembad en ligbedden, fijne ontvangst en een geweldig restaurant in het dorp: Rambling Rose, het vlees was het allerbeste en zachtste ooit. Het strand was op een paar minuten rijden en ook zeer de moeite waard om naar toe te gaan.

Very nice apartment with everything you could need. Spacious, clean, strong WiFi, friendly hosts. Welcoming snacks were happily accepted after an international flight’s fatigue. Liked the kingsized bed a lot, and being able to take a long bath after a stretched out day. Really good stay, highly recommended.

Lovely bachelor type accommodation. Has everything you need. Beautiful setting and a quick drive into the village. The caretaker was pleasant and helpful.

A acomodação da Catharina é excelente para famílias, pois é tranquilo, aconchegante e ao lado de uma reserva de animais, que pudemos desfrutar do deck do Victoria Heights B&B. Fomos muito bem recebidos e tratados. O café da manhã foi muito bom e a Catharina nos recebeu extremamente bem. Vale a pena se hospedar lá.

I spent a single night at In Toto Retreat and left wishing I’d lingered longer. Check‑in was seamless and Roland’s welcome set a relaxed tone. My suite was spotless and well equipped with TV, Wi‑Fi and kitchen. I had access to all their kayaks and bicycles. I had a tasty generous cooked‑to‑order breakfast before I left the next morning and would definitely recommend In Toto to anyone.

Neat , well equipped accommodation. Staircase, but we had no trouble carrying luggage. Undercover parking a bonus. We did not spent a lot of time at the accommodation. Appreciate the coffee/tea station.

I had the pleasure of calling this place home for about a month of December-January. The cottage is a part of the original stables and I loved being right next door to the paddock where two foals had been born the same week I arrived. Chickens having dustbaths, friendly dogs, horses all add to the farm ambience which is my happy place. The farm itself is situated right on the border of the national park and so the nature is pristine. I loved the setting and the location within Wilderness. it was a quiet reprieve from the central village which was jam packed with tourists, but still only a short drive to the beach and restaurants. The place itself is a stable converted into a flatlet. The kitchen and small lounge area are well equipped, clean a have plenty of sunlight streaming in. The separate bedroom is a smallish space with a double bed and was all I needed to be comfortable. The hosts are lovely people and I felt like a part of the family from day one.

Martin and Iris are great hosts . It was very easy to communicate with them from first booking and throughout the trip, and couldn’t have been more accommodating during our stay.The apartment itself is beautiful with great sea and mountain views from the kitchen/living room and veranda We had a 4 months old baby and everything worked out perfectly.. The check-in //out process was excellent I would definitely recommend Martin's apartment to others.

Wundervolle Unterkunft für einen Besuch in Plettenberg. Der Strand ist fußläufig und das Stadtzentrum in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Direkt um die Ecke ist ein Supermarkt, zwei Restaurants und ein Café. Nicki ist super erreichbar und hat uns bei Problemen schnell geholfen. Die Wohnung selbst ist ein Traum. Die Terrasse ist super schön und alle anderen Räume geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist zwar klein aber vollkommen ausreichend. Unser einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag wären hier noch ein paar mehr Utensilien. Das ist aber nebensächlich… Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

In der Unterkunft wurden wir herzlich von Tammie begrüßt ubd fühlten uns direkt wohl. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und die Aussicht toll. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Eine Kaffeemaschine oder eine French Press für den Kaffee am Morgen wäre perfekt gewesen. Wir können einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen.

Beeindruckende Lage, unglaubliche Aussicht, einfach unvergesslich der Aufenthalt! Bettina hat uns herzlich empfangen, wir hatten sofort das Gefühl, zu Hause zu sein. Das gesamte Team war unglaublich nett. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Die Stimmung war stets gut die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber, große Aufenthaltsbereich! Zwei süße Schäferhunde, total lieb und zutraulich und total verspielt! Wir würden sofort wiederkommen

We had a very comfortable overnight stay at Jeanne and Tony's apartment. Beautifully decorated and well thought out and designed accommodation lacking nothing to provide a memorable experience in Grootbrak River. Jeanne is a kind and very friendly host and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. We thought the pictures did not give full justice to this lovely apartment as its really much nicer in real life. Nothing to fault. We'd recommend Jeanne and Tony's place to all guests out there. We'll most certainly visit again should we visit this part of the beautiful Garden Route again.

Es war total toll und die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen - auch wenn wir nur für eine Nacht dort waren. Nächstes Mal gerne länger!

Stilvoll eingerichtet! Trotz, dass es mehrere Zimmer im Haus gibt ist es ruhig. Auch die Straße ist ab 8 Uhr abends kaum befahren. In der Stunde vllt. 1 Auto. Nachts hört man nichts. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich!! Alles macht einen gepflegten Eindruck! Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Our stay with Sonet was fantastic, our 5 border collies were accommodated due to the fenced garden in front. This was one of our main criteria. Thank you. The space was modern, well equipped and functional. Was great that the property had solar power backup should lead shedding have come our way. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and air fryer, microwave oven. Close to the beach although during our time there the walk way was under repair due to flood damage (municipal responsibility). Loved our stay and especially the peace and quiet and closeness to beach. Felt right at home. Great hosts will return
