Shorty’s Place was a clean and comfortable stay for our time in Lunenberg. It was a quick drive into downtown for a day of art galleries and food, then we enjoyed the late afternoon and evening on the back deck, reading and waiting for our laundry to dry on the line. Thanks, Peter!

We very much enjoyed our time at the cottage. The cottage is tastefully decorated, very clean, peaceful and quiet. Watching the herons in the morning from the deck was priceless. The kayaks were a wonderful addition to explore the cove and nearby channel. Peters communication ahead of our trip was outstanding with lots of helpful information. We can highly recommend a stay at Peters cottage.

Adele’s house was cozy and clean, and was well-located for drives into nearby Lunenburg (10 minutes away). The house was freezing cold when we first arrived because someone had left all the windows on the second floor open, but it warmed up quickly once we closed them all. As a host Adele was wonderfully friendly and responsive, and we really enjoyed our stay.

A spacious living area features large windows that invite natural light and offer views of the outdoor landscape. A modern staircase spirals upward, while wooden flooring adds warmth to the room. A cozy seating arrangement complements a contemporary fireplace and decorative elements.
