It is not far to the fjord, where there are good bathing conditions and the trip there is really beautiful.

'Ålejern' is a more than 100 year old farmhouse, located on the outskirts of Staun — A cozy little village with its own harbour, playground, shelters and beautiful nature. Nearby are Nibe, which among other things houses Denmark's Best Ice House, and Løgstør, which with its cozy harbor, with restaurants, museum and beach is worth a visit.
