Classic and sweet Santa Cruz cottage. This is literally our Grandma's beach house. 3 bedroom home that is 2 doors away from one of the best beaches in Santa Cruz. 2 queen bedrooms upstairs and 1 full downstairs. Could be described as "shabby chic" but we see it as the adorable original rustic vacation house it was built as and has been its whole 130 years. The kitchen is updated but maintains it's old charm. The rest (aside from the addition of indoor plumbing) is still pretty much the same.

A recent remodel brings the space up to date with our goal to make it especially comfortable and light, a retreat where you will be able to relax after a day of adventure, riding the Big Dipper, wine/beer tasting or beach fun. Sleep in a comfy king size bed in a room with room darkening window coverings. The sofa has a pull out queen size bed. Also, we have a fold out bed in the bedroom closet.

The one-bedroom cottage is a peaceful retreat, nestled in a quiet family neighborhood. It is an 8-minute walk to the sunny Seabright Beach and close to all that is Santa Cruz. The sunny living room and private garden are great places to chill. It is a two-block walk to several excellent restaurants. We provide two beach cruisers, and it is less than a mile ride to either downtown Santa Cruz or the Marina. So park your car and have some fun.

PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS: Spacious house with a loft bedroom, bathroom with shower/bathtub, skylights, full kitchen, large living room and dining area. Lots of light. Two decks, yard, driveway and garage for parking. Only a 0.3 mile walk to the beach and boardwalk. A 0.4 mile walk to the wharf. And a 0.7 mile walk to downtown. Lots of outdoor activities in the area! Unfortunately the house is not suitable for children under 10.
