Driftwood cottage is a compact and beautiful detached 18th century stone cottage, set in it's own small garden and based in the idyllic hamlet of Cwm Ivy in North Gower. A magical walk from the property leads through the Whitford National Nature Reserve to both Whitford Sands and Broughton Bay (both are within half a mile). The Gower peninsular offers an array of beautiful coastal walks, open grasslands, woodland and marsh walks. It also boasts some of the most spectacular beaches in the UK.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. The studio flat with fantastic views over Cefn Bryn in a rural location. Upstairs the Lounge/bedroom gets both sun rise and sunset. Well equipped Let with a walk in shower. Downstairs is a fully fitted kitchen. A short drive will take you to all of the Gowers fabulous beaches and the salt marshes where the ponies roam free. My property is on the Gower Way - great for walkers/cyclist too. There are sometimes free roaming sheep and cows nearby.

The Store at Mewslade Cottage is a self contained unit with separate entrance and beautiful courtyard area within the garden. It is located at the end of the Gower peninsular has off-road parking and is 5 minutes walk down a lane to beautiful Mewslade beach, 10 minutes walk to wonderful Rhossili. It has a low double bed up narrow stairs in a lovely roof space (not standing height), a kitchen and dining area that opens out onto the courtyard, separate room with sofa bed & TV and a shower room.

Fabulous accommodation - beautifully clean, very well equipped, comfortable and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The garden opening out from the lounge and kitchen was a real blessing. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were fabulous. We had such a lovely time - great walks in both directions and Port Eynon is a beautiful beach. Thank you Debbie and Dean x

Great stay! Very easy access to the costal path with beautiful view of Mewslade bay. The accommodation was excellent, clean and quiet. Kate was an excellent host, responsive and gave clear instructions on the property’s location. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Excellent location for Rhosilli and other Gower beaches and locations. Outside: Parking space for 2 cars and access to shared open space at be back of the chalet. Chippy and Convenience store in front of the property. Chalet had fans, heaters, additional throws and pillows for any type of weather. Our stay was comfortable. Only downside was the common pool was closed for repairs but we were aware of this before we booked so had planned our vist to LC Swansea

Thank you Carol for letting us stay at your lovely property, on arrival it was better than described, lovely welcoming touches and smelt clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. The fire tv was perfect for a cosy evening after a day of adventures. The property is brilliantly located between multiple beaches. Rhossili was our favourite but Port Eynon felt like a hidden gem. Oxwich and Broughton Bay all within easy each as well. The local area is nice and quiet on a night. We even went to the pick your own strawberry fields located across the road. The shop and fish & chip shop at the bottom of the road are both handy and nice and the kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Would come back here and will recommend to family and friends. Thanks again.
