Perfect, last minute getaway weekend spot! Susan was responsive from the beginning and throughout our stay. The home is immaculately clean. My husband fished all weekend and caught several fish:) Sunrises from the primary bedroom and the screened in porch were a beautiful way to wake up. The weather was cool so we didn’t have bug issues but some of the screens probably need to be repaired for warmer days when you want to open the windows on the porch. Kitchen is well stocked and we cooked all of our meals in so we could enjoy the lake view. If you’re planning on cooking, you may want to bring some Tupperware. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed which was exactly what we were hoping for.

Michael was a very responsive host. He was very flexible about checking in early/out late. The view of the lake from the house was spectacular. The house was pristine clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We especially enjoyed the lake kayaking and fishing ~ large mouth bass and pickerel ~ Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!!

The house and staying were incredible. My wife and I enjoyed the settings, the river, the windows that watch the river, the sofas outside, the little flowers, and the semi-unkept grass. It was magical. Thank you

Very good location not too far from New York City. You feel like you are away from everything. But in the meantime, you have everything around you. My kids enjoy. We had the best time at Alexis’s home! There were 4 adults and 2 kids (4.5 & 7) and the home was amazing! It was perfect for the kids with tons of indoor space to have our own areas when we needed it, and was great when we all wanted to hang out together. The game room was INSANE - we ALL LOVED it! We already rebooked for this summer and cannot wait to come back with a few more people and see what else it has to offer!

Spacious and Scenic Lakefront Retreat We had an amazing stay! The home was exactly as described and provided ample space to comfortably accommodate our family of seven. We especially enjoyed our time by the lake, kayaking and soaking in the serene surroundings. The second floor offered stunning lake views, and the balcony was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. This property is ideal for a peaceful getaway, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

Our family had an amazing time. Very easy check in. Macarena was very responsive and helped us with any questions we had. The house is clean and kitchen well stacked. The big windows with the view of the lake and sunroom makes this place very special. We cannot wait to come back.

Had a great time at Crystal Cottage! Beautiful house with great amenities. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards that were provided, the views of the lake, the hammock/chairs/fire pit and the projector. Dallas was very responsive and provided easy check-in instructions as well as local recommendations. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sunset Cabin! It was super cozy and spotless, with the most peaceful surroundings. You could tell Michelle put a lot of thought into making it feel like a real retreat. The hot tub was a total highlight - perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Michelle was an amazing host, super responsive, and made us feel right at home. The late checkout was a lovely bonus. If you're looking to escape and enjoy nature, we'd totally recommend this spot. We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed how private it was and spent lots of time on the back porch listening to all the birds-we even saw some Bald Eagles. It had everything we needed for our visit and we enjoyed all the amenities, especially the kayaks and pool table. We would like to come back in the summer so that more places will be open and there is more to do in the area. Overall, a nice peaceful getaway and would stay again.

The location couldn’t be better, safe, peaceful, beautiful surroundings, within minutes from all the amenities and lakes. My family and I enjoyed every moment and created lasting memories together!

We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway than Deer Haven House—it truly lives up to its name! Each morning, we enjoyed our breakfast while watching deer and birds just outside the windows. The home is stunning and exactly as pictured; my children were enchanted by every detail and genuinely sad to leave. Ian was an exceptional host—always prompt and helpful. The thoughtful touches throughout the house made all the difference: a baby gate at the top of the stairs, convenient chargers in the bedrooms, and generous provisions of shampoo, conditioner, paper products, linens, and towels to name a few. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. One small note for future guests: the stairs to the second floor are a bit steep, so the baby gate really came in handy each evening for our little ones. Other than that, this was a flawless stay. We can’t wait to return!
