🐻The Poconos Rustic Cozy Bear Chalet Pet-Friendly

We have been visiting the Poconos for a number of years. Finally, we had decided to move there permanently…haven’t looked back since. This area is everything outdoorsy kind of people can look for – so much to see and do! As far as the chalet, we have been told by multiple groups that the kitchen is very well-stocked. The place is prepared with the intention of making it a themed, cozy, affordable, and above all clean place where our guests can enjoy themselves, no matter where they come from.

Hand-built in the '70's, this unique log home has been lovingly restored with style. Located on a sweeping bend of the Delaware, Broad Arrows offers unrivaled views and peace in nature regardless of the season. In summer grill on the deck, swim, canoe or fly fish. In the evenings enjoy river sunsets or enjoy our Finnish sauna followed by a refreshing dip in the river. In fall and winter enjoy the many local hiking trails or ski-hills. A truly remarkable place to take time out and reconnect.

Just 3 minutes from the Lake Wallenpaupack boat launch and 5 minutes from shopping, restaurants, bars, boat tours, fantastic hiking trails, and more. At this quiet, newly renovated (2022) retreat, you can experience great fishing, incredible sunrises and sunsets, bald eagles, blue herons, deer, various birds, and other wildlife. Relax and dine on the deck or lakeside flagstone patio while enjoying crackling embers in the fire pit.

The Thoroughbred Cottage at Pleasant Ridge Farm

The Thoroughbred Cottage is the quintessential, early 1900s Pocono vacation cottage. Located on our commercial horse farm, the cottage has been entirely renovated but has kept its unique original details. Views include our upper pastures and wooded hillside of the state game lands beyond. The cottage is set back on our private lane, but is close to all major Pocono attractions and wedding venues. Spacious home - 3 bedrooms / 3 bathroom. Large living area for the group to enjoy 250 yards off Lake Wallenpaupack! Tons of outdoor space and large side deck. Brand new grill. Plenty of parking (4 cars). Marina just down the street for daily/weekly dock and boat rentals. Beds: 1 king, 3 queens, and 1 queen sofa bed. Flat screen TVs in each bedroom. Secluded Suite outside of town.

A small suite located above the town of Jim Thorpe. I am really geared towards couples looking for a weekend getaway. The space is smaller but very easily accomadates two people. A big step up from any hotel room/suite. The rental is not located in the town of Jim Thorpe. I am located about 10 minutes outside of town and about 5 minutes away from Penns Peak. The rental is connected to home but completely seperate.
