BALTHASAR Resort Guesthouse on the Rebhang in the Rheingau

The "Balthasar Ress Guesthouse" is the guest house of the renowned Balthasar Ress winery in the Rheingau. Primarily designed for the winery's own guests, it is also sometimes available to other guests. The architect's house is located in the "Rebhang" settlement, one of the most exclusive and beautiful residential areas in the Rheingau wine-growing region. The settlement is located at an altitude of around 400 m, around 300 m above the Rhine and is surrounded by meadows, vineyards and the forest.

Ohren - An oasis of tranquility in the countryside

An unique tranquil living space can comfortably accomodate 2-7 persons. Furnishings include queen size beds, bright pool room and an inviting bar. Glass doors open up onto wooden terraces and a koi pond. An adjacent grill under a vine-covered pergola overlooks a large (1400sqm) well-kept garden. It has a private entrance with ample parking. We live on the top floor of the house, but we give our guests their space and guests have most of the garden to themselves. Easily accessible from the A3.

Small art stall with wood stove Burg Freienfels

The small art remise along the Weiltal and Weilstrasse in the Taunus is a small 55 square metre cottage on a former mill estate. Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. On the property right next to the stream you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and even the occasional egg. Most recently, the remise was used as a studio, and now art objects by regional artists continue to enliven the space.

The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

The old coin

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. Our vacation home is idyllically located, yet very central in Mainz. The house dates back to the 19th century and has been lovingly renovated and completely refurnished. You'll find anything your heart desires. It has a beautiful, sunny and quiet location. In less than 1 minute you are on the Main. In 10 minutes you can take the bus to downtown Mainz. The cottage (approx. 70 sqm) is a converted stable and is listed as a monument. It is surrounded by vineyards, wineries, restaurants and is only a 5-minute walk to the Rhine. In principle, it is only suitable for 2 people. The cottage is fully equipped with, for example, a washer/dryer, SodaStream, internet-enabled TV, WiFi, lounge furniture on the terrace and many extras. Pets are welcome :-)
