We had a wonderful time despite miserable weather. The house is great for being in nature even in bad weather. The newly built sauna was a big plus and the beautiful bright kitchen a great place for many conversations and extensive cooking. We will be happy to come back!

Amazing place, we wish we could’ve stayed longer! With only one night we didn’t get a chance to relax or utilize the full house, but it was cozy and fully stocked for anything we could’ve needed — they truly thought of every detail. It was huge, we felt right at home, and you can’t beat the location in Alsfeld!

A beautiful place to relax & explore. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The cottage is very cozy with a lot of love for detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great time in this beautiful and lovingly furnished half-timbered house. You feel right at home. The location in the middle of the old town is great, and with a suspension bridge, forest ball track and playgrounds, great activities with children are possible. Annouck and Benji were very nice and very accessible. We will be happy to come back.

We had a very nice time in Renate's house. The surroundings invite you to numerous hikes and excursions and in the apartment you will find everything you need and the beds are very comfortable! We will be happy to come back :)

Such a lovely cabin in a picturesque setting! We felt right at home There is everything you need for a quiet break. Heckmühle is a very sweet village with great people. We will be happy to come back.

Very nice decor. The bedrooms are all on the quieter side of the house and therefore you do not hear the street about 50-100 meters away. The washing machine is in the bedroom on the ground floor, which was not great for me as an allergy sufferer. Otherwise, the location is very good as a starting point for bike tours.

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

We had very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small town invites you to small and large hikes. If you get into the car, you can reach the famous sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the Schwarze Moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. The accommodation is located in a beautiful holiday park, a little off in a small village. 2 large playgrounds offer space and play opportunities for people and animals. There are many opportunities for hiking in the area and the proximity to the highway makes some excursions in the area quickly possible. We spent 1 week there and felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend it.

We had a good time at Sabine's place! We were there with 12 adults and a toddler and had plenty of room. The bedrooms are spacious. It was nice to have so many bathrooms and toilets available. The main kitchen downstairs was a little too small for our needs and the group size - we had to cook partly in parallel on the upper floor. There are enough seats for everyone, but we always had to rearrange to get everyone at one table. The property was very nice and green!

Good value for money. Marle and her husband were friendly and offered us pasta ingredients when we had mistakenly bought pizzas to bake, not realizing there was no oven in the house (our mistake – we should have read the information more carefully 🫣😅)

Beautiful weekend home from the first minute. Communication with Rebecca and Philipp was straightforward and warm. The house was perfect for 9 adults: lots of cozy corners for playing, chatting, reading or even working. Great amenities! The surroundings are an inexhaustible hiking paradise. You definitely need a car to get there and to go on excursions. We will be happy to come back!

The apartment is very nice and well/well equipped. In the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking, and the utensils are in great shape and are in great shape. The bathroom is also comfortable and the large bathtub invites you to relax on a cool day. The lots of wood in the apartment adds to a cozy ambiance. The apartment was very clean and the hosts were very friendly and helpful and easily accessible. The location is beautiful surrounded by nature. You can take wonderful walks through the greenery from the apartment. It's just the thing if you want to relax and unwind. We would visit again immediately and would also like to try the restaurant next time, which unfortunately was closed at the time. Full score! :)

Great place! Absolutely quiet, yet central. Olaf is a great host. The facility of the house leaves nothing to be desired! Everything has been thought of. We felt very comfortable.

The apartment is located on the edge of a small village, from where you can start walks and hikes directly. One of the two horse farms of the family is within walking distance in 2 minutes, the other is in the village and is also within walking distance. For children, both the horse farm and the proximity to nature (forest and meadows) are very appealing, there is the possibility of petting horses and pony riding. The large apartment is super equipped with everything and for families with children (high chair, games, books, building blocks, baby stop for the bed) and has a sauna and a piano as highlights. I was there for three days with my daughter and three grandchildren and highly recommend this place: Very friendly owners, quiet rural environment, you immediately come down and find time and muse.

We spent an extended weekend with Wilma with our dog and were super satisfied. We felt very comfortable in Wilma's special, lovingly furnished house and spent relaxed and slow days. We especially liked the proximity to nature with the dog, the surroundings are really tranquil and there are great walking paths. Wilma described everything very accurately and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back, thanks!

Tanja is very nice and super easy to reach. The apartment is beautifully bright and corresponds to the description. The furnishing is modern. We felt like at home. Everything is very clean and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The terrace has a beautiful view. In the evening, the neighbor's cat comes and is pretty fast in the apartment if you don't watch out. We used the sauna for a small surcharge. It is completely sufficient for two people. For us, it was a perfect 5 days to escape the ordinary. The area is perfect for smaller day trips. Everything can be reached quickly by car. We will definitely be guests there again in the fall.

We spent relaxing days in this super beautiful cottage and the idyllic natural garden. The cottage is lovingly renovated, yet it has been able to retain its old charm in many places. There is a lovely welcome package, which the children and our dog were very happy about. The area is super beautiful and interesting. There is a great nature reserve nearby and it is not far to Eisenach. It's just a few kilometers to the nearest village for shopping. You can also have a great vacation in this house and in the surroundings with a rather nervous animal protection dog. There is plenty of space and tranquility for everyone. The people in the village are also very nice and understanding. You can start hiking directly from the house. There is a good information folder. Our children loved the warm down duvets and extra blankets, as the weather was cool on Pentecost. We highly recommend the Kaufmann family and their cottage! 😃
