Old Gardener’s House – a waterside paradise

The former gardener’s house, originally built in 1710, is nestled in the stunning natural landscape of the picturesque Holsteinische Schweiz, directly on the Schwentine River, one of Schleswig-Holstein’s longest rivers. In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. The surrounding landscape of lakes, fields, forests, and gentle hills lends the area its captivating charm.

Welcome to our newly built vacation home in the municipality of Scharbeutz on the Baltic Sea. The house is quietly and idyllically located in a cul-de-sac and offers plenty of space for up to four people with about 110 m² of living space, a fenced garden and a covered terrace. We rent a cozy, vacation cottage close to Lake Selent, in the middle of one of the most beautiful vacation regions of Schleswig-Holstein. The house was completely renovated in 2018 and is bright and modernly furnished. It is located in a large garden with an orchard and has its own terrace.
