Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Schenectady

We had a great time staying at L.J’s place. Our children loved app that there was to do and we took daily walks down to the frozen lake. Lots of fun sledding and relaxing!

We had the BEST TIME at this fantastic Lakeside house in Valatie!  The house itself has 3 good bedrooms – 2 large bedrooms upstairs with a nice bathroom and tub.  The downstairs has the other cute bedroom, another full bathroom,  a good sized kitchen open to a great and large living and dining area. The VIEW from the main room is stunning and was our ‘TV’ for the week.  The lake is just gorgeous!  It has a little dock with kayaks and plenty of nice seating and lounge chairs.  It’s great to have a full grass lawn !  The pups loved the house and the yard and the lake!  The house was super clean and roomy but cozy in it’s feel.  So many great little towns nearby – it was just the perfect house to get away from the city!  The community was chill, even tho it was Memorial Day weekend.  Thanks to Michael who was super responsive (not that we needed anything!) but if we had a question. Etc.  Thank you Michael ! We hope to be back for another visit !!!  

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home to celebrate our anniversary. It was clean, beds were super comfy and the views stunning. Loved the furniture/decor. Scott was quick to respond to questions. We really had a relaxing, lovely time.

We loved staying at Erin’s place. Very private, yet so close to all the nearby towns and parks. The place was so comfortable, clean, great bed and linens, and easy to hang out and relax. For sure would love to come again!

We were there for the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga. It was a great location and it was in a very quiet neighborhood with hardly any traffic going by. Inside it was very nice and accommodating - spacious kitchen with all new appliances, large dining room and living room. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and operational - just right for our party of 4. We communicated with Brandon several times and he usually responded within 15 minutes which was great. We appreciate that! All in all it was a great trip and Brandon's place was perfect for us. I would highly recommend it. Reasonable price, great location, great home, and a very pleasant renter. We didn't win any money at the track, but the stay was excellent.

A beautiful home, I felt so comfortable. Derwin was kind, responsive and helpful during our stay. It was in a very convenient location, close to everything. The home was packed with everything you need. My go to cooking item was the crockpot (very thoughtful)….this guy cares about what he’s doing and you can feel it when you lay your head on the pillows.

We have been looking forward to our stay at this cabin for weeks. We needed to unplug and we got just that. It was a rainy weekend but that made the area more magical. The house is so beautiful , loved the nice art sprinkled all over the house including a lovely picture of the waterfalls behind the property which can be heard from the house! everything was clean and very homie! and we got a ton of suggestions for things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again! 10/10

Kerri was extremely responsive and accomodating. I enjoyed the stay in Saratoga and the location was perfect to access downtown without being in a busy area. The place was immaculate and extremely comfortable with all of the amenities needed. Thank you Kerri!

This is our fifth year coming to the farm. Larissa is absolutely masterful with kids of all ages (even tough kids). My daughter races out at 9 am to do farm chores and begs for more (and this is a kid who drags her feet doing chores at home)!! We love the rhythm of farm and find it really easy to disconnect and unwind. After chores in the morning, you're welcome to spend as much time as you want with the animals, which is a real treat. Whether it's feeding the horses hay, sharing food scraps with the goats, or watching the chickens do their evening routine, there's so much to enjoy. The local towns are lovely, but if you like the farm experience, you may never leave the property. Larissa is incredibly knowledgeable and generous in sharing her experience and expertise. She has created an absolutely magical environment, and I would highly recommend visiting!!

The unit is spacious and tastefully decorated. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance so there are plenty of nearby options if one doesn’t want to cook. The Albany Capital Center, State Capitol Building, and other downtown locations are only about 15 minutes away by foot if you want to avoid extra driving. Brian was very responsive as a host. We were never kept waiting for any questions we may have had. All in all, I would recommend Brian’s unit over pricier hotels in the Albany area.

The hosts are super helpful and the place has 10+ working pinball/other game machines! The apartment was very clean, and accurate to what is posted.

The place was wonderful. Very charming and homey, spotless with all the amenities and conveniences you could need. The information included in Joe’s binder gave great recommendations for meals and attractions within easy driving distance. We had never traveled to that area before and found the local scenery beautiful. Thanks for a lovely experience!

Martin's place was exactly as described and the perfect fit for our overnight stay to visit family. He was very responsive and check in was a breeze. The apartment is in a safe, quiet neighborhood but close to town.

Monica’s place was super cozy and she was awesome throughout our stay, defiantly would stay again!

Best place we ever stayed! Mara was amazing and we had the best two days there. We got to spend time with friendly horses, cats, and chickens. We saw a bald eagles nest nearby, too. Front of the house was a peaceful farm vibe and the back was a gorgeous river view off the back deck. We enjoyed grilling our dinner and eating out back while watching the sunset. The deck lights were a nice touch. Simply stunning! Indoor fireplace was so nice too. Definitely book this place if you’re thinking about it! We will be back for sure!
