We had the most wonderful weekend stay at Blantyre Haven in Kalbar! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly by our lovely hosts, Jayne and David. They went above and beyond to make our stay special.. especially for our little boy, who was over the moon getting to meet Daisy and Donald, their adorable goats! It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. The retreat itself is absolutely stunning, so peaceful, beautifully styled, and far more breathtaking in person than the photos can capture. Every detail has been so carefully considered, and it truly feels like a little slice of country paradise. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already dreaming about our next visit. Highly recommend this magical place! ✨

I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. From the moment I woke up, I was greeted with breathtaking scenic views that surrounded the property. Each morning felt like a tranquil retreat, with nature’s beauty serving as the perfect backdrop to start the day. One of the highlights for us was the generous open spaces available for kids to play outdoors. It was a joy to watch them run free and explore, while we relaxed and enjoyed the fresh air. The space is perfect for families looking to bond and make lasting memories. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to find that all necessary amenities were provided, and I stumbled upon some unexpected treats in the fridge that weren't even mentioned on the website!

My family and I stayed at Emille’s place for a couple of nights while in Tyalgum. The space is beautifully decorated, really well stocked with all you would need plus more, super comfy beds and Emille went above and beyond with a lovely brekky basket and a couple of treats to make our stay extra special. Highly recommend to any future guests. 🤩

Stayed for a full month at Sabre house while preparing to leave Australia. Rhi set us up for a lovely stay with everything we needed to relax after a hectic few months. Sadly, Cyclone Alfred had other plans, and right at the beginning of our stay we lost power for 4 days. During this time, Rhi was AMAZING. Stayed in touch and made sure we had everything we could need prior to the storm hitting. She brought around candles and battery operated lights, moved all the things off the patio and basically prepared for the storm. We weathered it well, and could not be more grateful to her for our stay. We had our 2 dogs with us, and she was amazing about them also. Rhi was very responsive when we had any issues and dealt with things promptly and was just so helpful. The neighbourhood kids can be a bit noisy with bouncing basketballs etc. but that's my only complaint really - and nothing to do with the Air BnB. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a stay here!

Wow! What a find. Spotless and super comfortable. And full of interesting antiques. We loved the hot tub with a view, and the fireplace was really fabulous. Just down the road from the national park with many hiking options. Will definitely stay again.

The church was a delightful place to stay, so full of character and history. The entire place was full of thoughtful touches and had everything you could need for a getaway in the country. The kitchen was fully equipped which is great if you plan to cook anything. The hosts homemade sourdough was a lovely touch for the morning. Would love to stay again!

It was a pleasure staying with Beth and Nev in Witheren. Our son had a great time investigating the massive property, and the stars were mind blowing. With such little artificial light the meteors were clear in the night sky. As hosts they were fantastic, and it was great sharing stories. Thanks for the stay and all the best!

Just like staying in a fairytale cottage. Extremely comfortable, lovely energy and beautifully decorated. Nestled in a very friendly, vibrant and artistic community. Wonderful cafe/restaurant right next door. Enjoyed my stay very much, I will be back for sure.

Harry is truly such a great host. Can’t find any fault on the room- heritage country type. Most of all we love the wonderful and generous fresh breakfast that he served each morning. He always made sure that we are warm, comfortable and he is such a great communicator. We will surely come back in the future. Highly recommend.
