The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Relax in front of the warm wood burning fireplace, enjoy the abundant bird life from your private deck, soak in the antique clawfoot bath, and lose yourself in the celestial clerestory views. A character filled studio attached to the family home with its own entrance. Enjoy the plant filled space while you enjoy a breakfast of fresh bread, eggs from our chickens, cereal, condiments & coffee. At night light the fireplace with the wood provided & soak in the large tub. Take the picnic basket & rug provided, & explore the Mountain. We are located on the Main Road leading into Gallery Walk. If you are sensitive to road noise we might not be the perfect place for you.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.

Bloodwood cabin is about stepping back both literally and figuratively. We encourage you to leave the WIFI and fast pace behind to reconnect with nature. The fully sustainable eco-accommodation, offers elegant living with the bare necessities, including a bed, tea & coffee and fresh local produce and wine. The cabin is located on 20 000 acres which is home to organic beef cattle - you may be lucky to spot some cattle or horses.

The perfect couple's escape! Situated 200m from Magical Montville Village, Treetops Seaview Montville is nestled on the escarpment where you can take in the fantastic hinterland and coastal views.
