Small cottage with additional sleeping possibility. It lacks facilities. Only rented with the cabin. Photos = backyard. The landlord is living in the neighboring yard and has horses. Forests, mountains, streams, small and large lakes, fields, villages.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. A uniqe cottage at a small farm 200 m from Hjälmaren. We try to walk as light on earth as possible. The environment is perfect for relaxing nature experiences. On the farm we keep, cows, chickens, geese, ducks a dog and a cat and bees. Possibilty to rent an inflatable kajak with 1-3 seats and/or a SUP. " Et veldig koselig sted. Here you live in a cozy log house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of stores and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 minutes away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Upper Hill. Fishing from the pier or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (150 SEK/half day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license 50kr/ day.

The villa is located in a quiet villa area. 15 minutes from the center, lake Barken and the harbor. 5 minutes to the forest, for long walks, cycling and running. 10 minutes to the ski slope, but if you want a larger ski resort, it takes only 20 minutes to Romme Alpin. 15 minutes to Hagge golf course. Ludvika centre 20 min (another smaller town) The house can be booked longer if required up to 4 weeks
