Loved this place, we even extended our stay. First we were hesitant to book because we didn’t have our own bedding, but after texting with Kristen he recommended a cheap place to get some linen. Which was totally worth it! The bed was big and comfy, however too soft for my BF. The kitchen is well equipped and everything you’ll need. Water pressure in the shower is otherworldly lol (in a good way). The views of the mountains from the balcony and kitchen table are incredible. We loved the concept of cleaning the apartment for the next guests, felt like a real Airbnb. Also all the personal stuff of Kristen and fam made it feel right at home.

Een mooi appartement op een prachtige locatie met uitzicht op de watervallen en besneeuwde bergtoppen. Rustig gelegen, maar op het balkon het geluid van de waterval. Binnen hoorde je dat niet. Echt een aanrader!

Die Unterkunft liegt gut erreichbar an einer Hauptstraße. Von den Auto hört man in der Wohnung bei geschlossenen Fenster nur noch ein leises Rauschen. Nachts fahren dort wenige Auto. Man kann vor der Tür parken. Die Wohnung war anfangs etwas kühl. Sie hat sich dann über die erste Nacht aufgewärmt. Die Wohnung war sauber. Reinigung nimmt jeder bei Verlassen selbst vor. Bettwäsche und Handtücher bringt man auch selber mit. Optional konnte man den Service auch dazu buchen. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Wir haben lediglich keinen Föhn gefunden. Aus dem Fenster hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Wasserfall. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung war gut und bequem.

Appartement très pratique, très propre et bien situé. Je recommande et j'imagine qu'en période de sport d'hiver va doit être formidable.

Fantastisk bolig

Emplacement de rêve avec une vue magnifique sur un fjord . Des hôtes prévenants qui mettent à disposition une maison qui vaut vraiment le coup. On est resté qu' une nuit , c est notre seul regret.

Vi var 11 turvenninner - alle rundt 80 ! - som hadde et fantastisk opphold på Skansen ! Ble anbefalt stedet fra datteren min som var der i høst med sine Fjellsportvenner ! Fra vi låste oss inn i huset følte vi oss hjemme - ikke noe å sette fingeren på her !! Hyggelig hilsen fra vertskapet var der og - og som helt fra vi bestilte Skansen har vært utrolig forekommende å kommunisere med ! Takk , takk , takk !!! Dette frister det å gjenta ! Et eldre og koselig hus i landlige omgivelser. Fint oppusset og godt utstyrt. Passer også for familier. Perfekt beliggenhet for å gå noen av de mange turene i området. Veldig hyggelig vertinne, god kommunikasjon.

Beautiful location with unique home. Few quirks in the home but that is part of the charm. They communicated well and fixed a few maintenance issues very quickly. The views from the home and the surrounding area are so beautiful.

We loved our stay. This place is very spacious — nice open living room / kitchen area, comfortable bedrooms, gorgeous porch. It is almost unbelievable that from the porch, you have a view of the Tjornadalsfossen (waterfall) across the lake and Strandsfossen (waterfall) is practically in the backyard. And the hike to Jordalsnuten, which starts basically at the end of this Airbnb’s driveway, is so great! The view from the porch also includes some other items (a shed with lots of wood, a snowmobile, some machinery). We also had a car so it was easy to get to this place. We loved this place and would certainly come back.

We stayed for one night at Anders house and had a great experience. The place was spotless, exactly as shown in the photos, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Anders communicated clearly and the check-in and check-out instructions were very easy to follow. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We definitely recommend staying here!

The communication with Hilde Marie was very easy and friendly. The flat is well equipped and perfectly located to visit the surroundings while being in nature. We had a great time in the region and can only recommend this place 😊

I summary, it was clean, great location and an amazing apartment to hang out in and enjoy the view of the fjord and surrounding mountains. It was a great location to stay for a visiting Salmon Eye as well, as it is a 2min walk down the stairs to the meeting point for the boat. Main bed was very soft. If you like soft beds, this is great. For me preferring a firmer mattress, this was not ideal. Also there is no microwave, so if this is something you need in your routine, just take note.

Zeer mooi appartement waar alles aanwezig is. De locatie is ideaal om de omgeving van de Hardangerfjord te ontdekken en te genieten van wandelingen in de natuur.

God kommunikasjon med Elin, veldig gode instrukser, leiligheten lå perfekt til med kjempe fin utsikt, fine fasiliteter og gode senger. Anbefaler absolutt denne plassen til alle og kommer til å sjekke om det er ledig neste gang jeg skal til Etne.

Nice host and very responsive, hospitable and the house is great. had a nice view of the slopes from the terrace, the only poor thing was the internet was bad but anything other than that our stay was better in the house.

A comfortable and spacious apartment, well equipped and big enough to accommodate two families. A friendly host, it was easy to get in touch with Ole. We enjoyed our stay and recommend Ole’s apartment.
