This place is amazing! We enjoyed the apartment for two weeks as our home base to explore Sao Miguel. With its location in Lagoa it is the perfect getaway from the business of Ponta Delgada but still close enough to go on early whale watching tours.. or to any direction on the island. The kitchen is very well setup - we could prepare meals on multiple days but also enjoyed the walks to the nearby restaurants.. With breakfast and dinner on the roof top terrace this place is a unique find and we will be happy to stay again! Thank you for making such a place a reality!

Laura and her husband are gems. They do their best to make sure their guests can enjoy Sao Miguel, including attractions, restaurants, weather site and live cameras of the different places to visit. They are very responsive. We were stuck outside because we had the keys inside and in less than 5 minutes Laura's husband was there. In addition, you are greeted by a gargantuan basket filled with goodies. The house is faithful to the description and photos. The bedding is really of very good quality. It is quiet despite the roadside (a little traffic at 8:00 a.m.) and remains safe for children. We only had breakfast and therefore did not cook (except eggs and fruit salads, etc.) The location is very good for discovering the island. Furnas and Nordeste are 45 minutes' drive away even if they are on the other side. The airport is 15 minutes away. In short, we were delighted and would recommend this house without hesitation!

Frustrating that check in was not until 4p.m when guests have to check out at 11 a.m, Surely cannot take that long to clean. Otherwise good value, good appliances, comfortable bed, great balcony. mini mercado next door, of course need car to get around

Our stay was perfect with the gorgeous ocean view to wake up to every morning. House was clean and comfortable, just like the pictures showed. Hosts were great and very responsive. There are places to swim in the ocean very close by and parking was always easily accessible at the end of the street. It was close to the city and a great place to stay to explore the whole island.
