Pet-friendly vacation rentals in São Romão

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

The house was exactly like the photographs. From the time of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised us with the positive, with details thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Definitely an experience to repeat.

It was only a one-night stay, but the space is very cozy, impeccably arranged and decorated. Immaculate cleanliness. The contact with Andreia was not in person only because of me due to the late arrival time and also very early departure time. Contact is always very easy and fast, whether by phone, messaging app (...) and even through the Airbnb app. An excellent place to discover the Serra da Estrela. I recommend it 100%.

Linhares da Beira and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to visit. The villa is perfect- well worth the money spent! Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We braved the pool even though the weather was a bit cold for the time of year. Thanks to Linda and Helena for everything.

Hello Mr. Pedro! We wanted to thank you for all the hospitality during our stay at your accommodation in Póvoa Dão. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well-maintained and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to take our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. That made all the difference! We really felt at home and very welcome and relaxed. We will recommend it and will definitely be back at the next opportunity! Many thanks for everything! We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful little stop. The villagers were very friendly and the river was lovely for a refreshing dip. Nuno was very helpful and the place was spotless and had everything one needs

Accommodation is spectacular. Very cute, comfortable, with parking at the door and very well located to explore the area and climb the tower. It has air conditioning, heat pump and pellet salamander, which makes the house a very comfortable house.

Very nice house with all the comforts and very complete, there is everything to spend the whole stay, everything impeccable, we felt right at home, a quiet place ideal to disconnect and be in a natural environment. Near Coimbra, which is where we were going. Pedro has been very attentive and responds very quickly if you have any questions. I definitely recommend it 100%. We went with 5 friends and the space is perfect for everyone. We will definitely return, but next time I will go with my children, it seems ideal for children.

We had a great stay at Antionio's place. Very relaxing setting on the edge of the village. So nice to be able to let our dog run freely in a fenced compound with beautiful fruit trees. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Beautiful location, right next to the river and the mill. Bruno was a communicative and helpful host. It's very small, as it says in the description, but for 2 nights was ok.

Gustavo was incredibly friendly and proactive throughout my stay. The cabin and its surroundings were exactly as described in the listing—peaceful, clean, and well-maintained. Everything was spotless and ready when I arrived. Definitely great value for the money. Highly recommend!

It is a wonderful space to enjoy as a family. Well-equipped kitchen. House with entertainment for children. A good barbecue area. The nature around the accommodation is amazing. A true refuge.

Beautiful private spot. Paul was amazingly helpful and communicative, any queries answered immediately but also he didnt invade our personal space. Perfect balance. Amazing host. Very relaxed and the house had all the amenities we could want. Definitely recommend.

This place is the perfect getaway to relax, unwind, and be in the beauty of a working farm, but close to the park if you feel like getting out and about. I had difficulty with the directions getting there because I am unused to driving through very thin cobblestone roads because in America, we do not have that, and Rui was completely responsive and extraordinarily helpful every step of the way . When I got to the place, I just felt like it was magical and it was a beautiful and perfect location and I wish I would’ve stayed for a week . I did venture out and see lots of gorgeous highways but coming back to this tiny home just felt like coming back home. The history of the farm is so incredible and the place is just exquisitely done.

Richard and Ishbel offer a very special home, allowing you to get off the grid and be surrounded by beautiful nature while also being very close to many amenities - gas, grocery, cafes and restaurants within a 10mins drive. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, and live next door and are very respectful of your privacy and helpful with providing suggestions. They have a large property that is a paradise for kids to explore with rabbits, cats, dogs, ducks and chickens - and even horses across the stream at another property.

We spent 3 days at the riverside farm. We had a great stay, the surrounding space was amazing and especially the pool area was wonderful

Very nice Home with Garage for small car. Nise Design, good placed. In the House we have found everything what we need. Also some spices and Oil for cooking were there. Tiago have us some suggestions for Restaurants and Highlights near. We had a great time in Loriga.

A fantastic place to stay, very comfortable, well equipped, great swimming pool area with honesty bar, and a lovely friendly Labrador, which was especially appreciated, as we were travelling by motorcycle and had left our two Labradors at home. 🤗☺️

We loved the stay, the house was beautiful and cozy. There was plenty of firewood to keep us warm in the living room. The kitchen was modern. I only have 2 things to point out: - It had all the necessary amenities except a mop to wash the dishes. - the oven top was not well washed (we left it cleaner than we found it) Finally, I leave the suggestion to the host that the outdoor space has immense potential and could be better used, for example with a swimming pool, especially in the warmer months.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Andrea and Bruno are pleasant and charming people The property itself is spacious, and renovated to a very high standard. The yard is pleasant and spacious, we picked some lemons and some mint. The view from the balcony is heartwarming. As parents of a small child, we were a little afraid of the stairs, and indeed it was challenging, but good handrails and a pair of gates to block access to the stairs from above really made it easier to cope (the stairs to the lower floor we just blocked permanently because we did not use this floor). The apartment is full of games for children, and our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter had a wonderful time. The fresh bread and the quality coffee that Bruno left for us completed the experience. The location of the settlement is a little far from the river, and everywhere you need to drive first on the winding road down the hill. But Avo's charming beach is an 8-minute drive, so it's not really a big deal. In short, we will return again and with great pleasure, thank you Bruno and Andrea, we will be happy to meet you in Coimbra as well.

Bucolic and isolated site with its own access to the clean water stream. At the end of the day, two Serra da Estrela would probably be attracted by the smell of the barbecue 😆

I had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Lontra. The property is beautiful and the apartment was charming and comfortable. I traveled with my dog who also had a great time between the river and play time with the host's dogs. Access to the property might look tricky, but it's perfectly doable.
