For visits by bike, bus, or car to downtown Aveiro or Ilhavo, or to the beach communities of Barra and Costa Nova, the ferry terminal (São Jacinto - Forte da Barra) is only a short walk away. São Jacinto's unspoiled beaches and the São Jacinto Dunes Nature Reserve are within comfortable walking distance.

Casa do Mercado is situated in the heart of Aveiro, this typical house is surrounded by many local shops, restaurants, coffee shops and terraces. Around the house, there are many nocturn life until 2 am(weekend) or 10 pm(week).
