Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Santorini caldera

Our villa was stunning with a most beautiful sea view. It was also extremely private. A short bus ride away from Thira and a short taxi from Oia. The host and her entire team were some of the most friendly and welcoming people we've come across on our travels. It is clear that they have a deep love for Santorini which has definitely rubbed off on us! Safe that when we go back we will be hoping to stay with them again be it in this property or one of their many others on the island. ευχαριστώ!

Great place, excellent pool, and tier own little courtyard with a hot tub .. Megalohori is the cutest village, full of little restaurants etc, cafes, and not overrun by tourists, super quaint <3

The place was beautiful with amazing views. The reception was very responsive and helped with our luggage and helped arrange transportation. I would highly recommend staying here.

El lugar está increíble, cumple con todo lo que se describe y lo que necesitas para pasar tus vacaciones. Es un espacio limpio, ordenado, muy blanco y con una vista privilegiada, además tiene la privacidad necesaria para pasarla muy bien. Definitivamente regresaría!!!

Des hôtes parfaits, une maison paisible dans une petite rue à deux minutes de la plage de sables noirs et une eau transparente. La jolie terrasse pour se reposer au retour d’une journée de visite de l’île est sans contredit un gros plus. Vous trouverez des restos sur la rue de la plage. Je conseille par contre une voiture.pas de soucis la maison a un grand stationnement qui peut facilement contenir deux voitures au besoin. Kostas nous avait recommandé un loueur que nous n’avons pas pris et à grand regrets. Il était plus cher mais beaucoup de scap côté voiture sur l’île. Kostas a aussi organisé nos transferts aller-retour au port. Ses parents sont venus nous accueillir à notre arrivé à la maison et étaient là aussi à notre départ. Des gens charmants. Je recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés et vous souhaite d’y séjourner un jour vous ne le regretterez pas! Plusieurs Airb&b à mon actif et définitivement un des meilleurs.

Excellent séjour chez Angela ! Le logement était parfait, très propre, bien équipé. Divers commerces et restaurants accessibles à pieds, et Fira à moins de 10min en voiture. Possibilité de se garer dans la cour de la résidence. Le jacuzzi était génial, exposé au soleil l'après-midi et avec vue sur Fira ! Mais surtout encore merci à Angela, pour sa gentillesse, ses recommandations, sa réactivité, sa proactivité et ses conseils. Elle demandait de nos nouvelles chaque jour pour savoir si tout se passait bien, et quand nous avons eu besoin de quelque chose, tout était réglé en quelques heures, le tout avec plein de petites attentions !

Antonis could not have been more welcoming. And more importantly when needed an urgent hospital visit, insisted on organising lift with friend, accompanying us and then helping with translation in hospital. Quiet, private, convenient for beach, buses and restaurants and excellent bakery also not far. Bonus of bikes and rooftop loungers with sun umbrella. Food and drink in fridge on arrival, Antonis the perfect host.

We stayed at this amazing place for a month and it was a perfect stay for many reasons. Pantelis is such a wonderful host, so kind, thoughtful, welcoming, informative, and engaging. The area is remote and not touristy or busy at all. If you are looking for a local feel and experience this is a great spot. There are super nice hikes to see areas of the island and check out villages, a monastery, winery, and beautiful views of the caldera and Santorini. Getting to Santorini was a nice 10-15 min ferry ride and made for some nice day trips. We loved how restful it was on the patio and being able to take in truly spectacular sunsets or enjoy watching the water in such peace. We can’t thank Pantelis enough for making our stay memorable, comfortable, and exceeding our expectations over and over again. Can’t wait to go back again!

We have just returned from a perfect week in a beautiful location. Everyone mentions the sunsets in Santorini which are the other side of the island but the sunrises were even better and can be seen from the terrace. Alex and his team run the house like a hotel with added luxuries and offered a mid stay clean which was lovely. The location is quite out the way so would recommend hiring a car, however it is walkable to Kamari (25 mins or so) and there was a lovely taverna a 2 minute walk away. The house is split in two with two rooms upstairs onto a beautiful terrace and 2 rooms downstairs. This offered privacy and also meant that my family members who slept downstairs weren’t disturbed by my baby. Absolutely beautiful home and would definitely recommend if looking for somewhere to make the most of the property. Cabs were easy for us to get although we were out of season but they were expensive Thank you Alex

this location was perfect for our holiday. the room was clean, the bed was super comfortable and there was air conditioning. the bathroom and shower was great with hot water on demand. there was a QR code to scan to access a website to order take away food from local town and this was sent straight to the address there was no details needed to add. the pool area was spacious with plenty of sunbeds. the pool was perfect depth and water was cool in temperature. bugs and flys did however land in the pool on occasion. the location is a long walk from the town of Fira we recommend renting an ATV/ scooter / buggy, they are reasonably priced and great for getting around. our host was very kind and provided us with beach towels when we needed them. I would recommend and I would stay here again.

After having spent a couple of days in Oia, we wanted a more quiet experience in a traditional cave house. This place is a true gem. A unique experience in a 400 years old newly renovated cave house, the kids loved their little separate cave as well and the pool is lovely. In hindsight I would have skipped staying in Oia, and just stayed in this house with a rental car instead. This way you’ll get the best of both worlds.

We loved our time in Santorini and our time here was a huge part of what made it so lovely. It was so incredibly quiet and private. Yes, the villa is part of a hotel but it is the one villa there and it is a bit higher and definitely more private. There are no hordes of people nearby (closest was a rocky outcropping, probably a couple hundred meters away where a small group of people would go to watch the sunset but it was well off to the side and didn't really affect the privacy). The villa is at the highest point of the hotel so you don't have anyone looking down onto your area. The villa itself was nice. Clean and smelled good (we were a bit worried about musty/humid spaces). We would go back for sure and 100% do not regret staying there vs going to a more touristy part of the island. The management helped us rent a car (met us at the airport and we dropped off at the ferry dock; 100% the way to rent a car). More to say, but running out of characters. Just go - you'll love it!

This stay was an absolute dream — far beyond perfect! The villa is breathtaking, even better than a 5star hotel: beautifully designed, spotlessly clean (with daily housekeeping), and equipped with absolutely everything you could need and even more. The location is ideal, peaceful, yet just 10–15 minutes from all the must-see spots on the island. But the heart of this experience was our incredible host. She is really AMAZING! From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with such warmth and generosity, treating us like family. She had filled the house with an abundance of healthy, delicious local treats and she offered us a cake for a special day. She looked after us throughout our stay, always available with the best recommendations for food and things to do. Her kindness, attention to detail, and care made this place feel like home in the most magical way. One of the best stays of our lives, unforgettable in every sense! Do not hesitate anymore, book this house. You will not regret it!

Absolutely gorgeous place. In a quiet area on Santorini. Host gave great suggestions on places near by to eat. We went to a cute winery up the street with a beautiful view. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. We rented a car to get around that the host assisted us with which was very helpful for us after a long travel day. Would definitely stay here again and bring back the family, this Airbnb definitely has enough space for everyone.

Un endroit exceptionnel !! Voilà comment je qualifierai la petite maison creusée dans la pierre, de Christoforos et Anett. C’est cosy à souhait, chaleureux, propre, et simple. Tout le nécessaire est dans la maison (le jacuzzi en plus !!) Quant à la vue, elle est tout à fait similaire aux photos et juste magnifique. Nous n’avons pas pu nous empêcher d’être dans le jacuzzi chaque soir pour profiter du coucher de soleil. Oubliez Oia, Spiti Barbara est « The place to be » pour voir le coucher de soleil. D’autre part Christophoros et Anett ont toujours été, avant et pendant le séjour, très réactif à nos sollicitations. Je n’ai qu’un regret, c’est celui de n’avoir pas pu les rencontrer en personne. Bref ! N’hésitez plus et venez vous plonger dans la vie grecque dans cette petite maison tellement charmante et accueillante. Mes amis et moi avons passé un excellent moment.

We had an amazing stay!! Voula and her family were so great to work with. Voula communicated in great detail and responded very quickly. The villa is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The plunge pool was such a nice treat after a long day of exploring. It’s a short walk to a family bakery which had many pastries and snacks. There are also restaurants within a short 15 minute walk. Voula assisted us in hiring Nikos to drive us around during our stay. Nikos and his colleague were so nice and we felt very safe in their vehicles. I highly recommend this place if you want something more quiet and away from the tourist attractions! We were so sad to leave!

This is hands down the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The home was perfect for our large group — we loved the rooms and amenities. The private pool and outdoor lounge space were chef's kiss! Our host, Antreas, made the experience even better. He met with us at both check-in and check-out. During check-in, he gave us a thorough tour of the villa and shared an in-depth guide to the best things to do and places to eat on the island. His food recommendations were spot on! When one of our friends got hurt during a bike tour, Antreas personally went to the pharmacy to get us medication and bandages. He also helped us schedule our transportation every day. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Santorini. I would definitely come back. Thank you again, Antreas, for everything!

We loved Antonia's place. The place was better than the pictures that were on the website. Antonia was very responsive. She left us some goodies when we checked in as well as a greek delicacy that was left on the kitchen table. It was delicious. Beds were comfortable, coffee maker, toaster oven, kettle and stove available for use. We loved the balcony, very quiet and great view of the water. Excellent way to enjoy your morning coffee in the morning. I would recommend her place to all who are considering travelling to Santorini. Thank you Antonia for a wonderful stay. We felt like we were staying with family.

Santorini'nin sahil kasabası Kamari'de plaja çok yakın, temiz, düzenli ve güzel bir ev,evin tasarımını ve eşyalarını ayrıca çok beğendim, fotoğraflardan çok daha güzeldi. Ev sahibi nazik, kibar ve canayakındı, konaklama boyunca istediğimiz her zaman ulaştık ve kendisi yardım için hazırdı, özellikle plaj tatili yapmak isteyenlere Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum

I had a wonderful week with my son of almost 2 years. We arrived at 11 am an Santorini airport and were received very warm and friendly by Margaritas mother. Luckily we could do an early check in, otherwise we could have left our luggage there. Margarita gave every information needed in advance and offered help as well. I can recommend the apartment also with little children. There was a baby cod and high chair. Also I felt very safe there with my child. The kitchen is well equipped and I could easily cook for me and my son. I didn’t miss a thing and felt like being home. The “city center” of Kamari is a 5min walk away and the bus stop right around the corner. Parking is no problem near to the apartment. Thank you for the great experience and the afford you make :)

The home: Beautiful and extremely clean cycladic house just like the photos in a very quiet neighborhood with killer views. The only caveats are is that the second bedroom is not connected to the main house and is up another flight of stairs which may work for some. The other is there are many steps to house which may be an issue for those with mobility difficulties. However, if you want to experience the cave home in a quiet area, I highly recommend this home. The host: Nikos was an excellent host, extremely responsive, and provided us with a lot of suggestions and information about the area. The area: Not too far from the port and Kamari beach. There are a few wineries close by and within walking distance if you can manage stairs. Also, the bus is close by on the main road, but do recommend renting a car. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Hands-down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in — and I’ve stayed in quite a few! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were somewhere special. The home is absolutely charming, full of beautiful architectural details that make you feel like you’re truly in Santorini. It was perfect for two couples — spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen was just the right size and generously stocked, and having a washer and dryer was such a bonus after traveling. The views? Absolutely unmatchable. Honestly, there’s no need to go anywhere else to catch the sunrise or sunset — just step outside and take it all in. Pyrgos itself is a gem — quiet, picturesque, and filled with charming churches, cafés, and shops. But what truly sets this stay apart is our host, Dimos. He took care of everything from the moment we booked until the moment we left. His hospitality and attention to detail are simply unmatched. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. Book it!

Casa Nidito exceeded our expectations! We absolutely loved our 20 day stay. Its location is idyllic, & offered a peaceful escape with its beautifully maintained natural garden. The home is so cozy and serene, it felt like a home away home. The garden with its beautiful plants, flowers and outdoor furniture is not only picturesque but just a wonderful extension of the house - we spent hours out there just relaxing and marveling at the magnificent sea landscape. We couldn’t get enough of its beauty, day and night. I see why the hosts are renowned for their exceptional hospitality. While the home is beautiful, what made our stay phenomenal was meeting Juliana & Arsenios. They truly care about their guests, going above & beyond to ensure a comfortable & memorable stay. From providing local recommendations to assisting with transportation arrangements to arranging personalized tours, their dedication made the difference. They are amazing people & we feel very lucky to have met them.
