Great accommodation within walking distance to beach and local restaurants. Very clean and well equipped apartment. Host was readily accessible and accommodating to our requests.

Our stay at this enchanting Portuguese apartment was nothing short of extraordinary—a harmonious blend of rustic charm and breathtaking natural beauty that offered our family a truly unforgettable escape. Perched elegantly above a shimmering estuary, the property gifts its guests with panoramic views that seem plucked from a painting—crystal waters stretching toward golden sands, framed by verdant hills and a sky that glows in hues of serenity. Each morning began with the tranquil murmur of the tide and concluded with sun-drenched evenings on the terrace, where time itself felt as if it had graciously paused. The apartment, with its terracotta floors and whitewashed walls, exudes an understated elegance. Every corner is imbued with warmth and simplicity, making it feel less like a rental and more like a cherished home. The open-plan layout fostered a sense of togetherness, while the thoughtful furnishings ensured both comfort and ease. A++

Spacious apartment, well furnished, really well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view of the river and downtown Alcácer from the living room window. Easy parking nearby, walkable distance from the city center. Really good place, the only thing that would make it better would be having AC

Lovely place right in the middle of Porto Covo, which is a beautiful town. Close to the restaurants and beaches. Check in and out is very easy and everything ran smooth and perfect, thank you!

Super Lage, nettes Appartment

We liked the apartments which are spacy, cozy, feel-like-at-home. Kitchen is well equiped (extra sharp knife and cutting board would be nice). House hase many rooms, which are comfortable for stay, sometimes strangely organized (like terasse door opening into the corridor blocking it) but that is no major issue. Air con in back right room should be fixed (sometimes making noise in night even though turned off). Host was helpful. View from top terasse is very nice. There is construction of new apartments in front in progress which was a bit noisy and annoying for breakfast on terasse, but this something which host cannot impact much. In general nice stay, at good location, issue with air con and construction site but important things were all right.

We loved our stay at Gonçalo's place. Beautiful, tranquil and chic, the space was the perfect hideaway for our vacation in Comporta. Close to all the beaches, restaurants and everything the area has to offer. The large, lofty and airy space is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, lovely furniture and small touches. The large eating and many sitting areas inside and out offered lots of options to lounge, relax, read a book or nap. Notably, Gonçalo is a cool and interesting guy. He gave us insider recommendations for hidden beaches we would have never discovered on our own. A special treat was Gonçalo's assistant Inês who made our stay incredible. She welcomed us warmly, took care of small requests, offered advice on local restaurants, and even hand picked fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden! Thank you Inês for making us feel at home! Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a chic and designer space in Comporta.

We stayed 6 nights at Bas’ place and expected to use it as a base to explore the Alentejo region. Instead we found the home and the town to be so lovely, we only went out one day to the seashore (which was amazing even in mid April). Bas has created a space with everything you need, including a beautiful view, and we appreciated the artistic designs of the space and the furniture. The hilly quaint town of Odemira was beginning its April celebrations of justice and liberty and we were lucky enough to catch a concert of many local choral groups singing the Cante Alentejano style. As for delicious Portuguese food, try the cataplana de tamboril at O Tarros (we ate there 3 times) and the bola de berlim at cafe Rita. And of course, the Alentejano wines. What a treat to experience what Bas has discovered. And he made it so easy with great instructions and communication. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

Perfect apartment to explore Vila Nova de Milfontes. Everything was so well thought out and had everything you could need for a stay. Apartment is very spacious and was spotlessly clean! Great location to walk into town and to nearby beaches. Highly recommend. Thanks Amanda!

We loved staying in Carvalhal in Thomas’ house. Beautifully designed and furnished, close to one of the best beaches in Comporta, with great restaurants, shops and gorgeous scenery, this was the perfect beach holiday with our family. Thomas was an outstanding host and went above and beyond to give local recommendations both in Comporta and Porto - all were excellent. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa da Falesia. We were welcomed to the house by Renato and his wife. They were extremely helpful, explaining all the house details and giving us advice about the surroundings, places to visit, where to eat (we went 3 times to Tia Rosa) and buy essentials . The house is fully equipped, and even if there is no air conditioning, it kept cool and comfortable the whole stay, even if the temperatures outside were quite high (32C). The beach is three minutes away, by walk, accessible by a stair that goes down an amazing cliff, resembling a star wars scenery. The location was perfect for us, as it allow us to do some birding excursions at the trails of Lagoa de Sto André, and to the bird observation tower at Praia de Melides. It’s also close to Comporta, where you can find some nice designer shops (even if quite expensive), and Troia, where you can find a beautiful beach, where swimming is less challenging. We do hope to return one day.

Joao's house is a few minutes drive from Milfontes It is a house in the middle of the countryside near the Mira River with spectacular views and a quiet and beautiful environment The house is perfect for a family vacation and to enjoy the magnificent beaches of Milfontes Many thanks to Joao and Nuno for their great attention
