Waterfront vacation rentals in Santarém District

Very nice accommodation, well equipped. Beautiful environment surrounded by nature. Be careful, vacation homes are under construction nearby, causing some noise disturbances but this should not last. Host not very responsive in communication but always responds to messages in the end. I recommend it.

Excellent apartment for a couple with or without children, and the host provides a free crib and baby high chair. The location is very beautiful and great for relaxing, whether in the pools, on the banks of the reservoir or even at home, which has a great view from the balcony. Repeating no doubt.

We were a group of friends spending a weekend and we loved it! The house is amazing for spending time in a group in a very comfortable way. The photographs do not do it justice, in person the house has a different energy fueled by the incredible view of the Castelo de Bode Dam, with incredible sunrises and sunsets. The pool is great and is well served with the annex where there is a barbecue and which also serves as a seating area. we will definitely be back:)

I stayed in Alcochete for 6 weeks and both the house and area exceeded expectations (which were high to begin with). The town is a treasure, being both delightful and close to Lisbon (30 minutes by bus). The house is perfect for one or two people (maybe more). and has a good internet connection for working. The agent Vitoria was responsive and helpful (albeit unable to fix a nationwide power outage!) Highly recommended.

the house is beautiful, located in a very peaceful setting with plenty of space. perfect for a family get together. The pool and house were very clean and Joao was friendly and helpful.

Erica and her husband were very nice! They even greeted our puppy 🐶 with some snacks. The house has every kitchen apparel for self sufficiency cooking. The pool is wonderful and all and all it was a week for recharging batteries in the heart of portugal! Will return again :)

The location is spectacular. Great for those who just want to relax and enjoy nature, from enjoying the morning sun with a beautiful landscape to enjoying the starry sky at night. The house has all amenities for a comfortable stay. Thanks to Francisco, who was always available for whatever was needed.

It was an amazing stay. João's space breathes tranquility. Located a few meters from the water, fun is always guaranteed if you are a fan of water sports. A swimming pool fulfills the purpose and a barbecue invites you to spend time with family or friends with the wonderful view of the dam. João did everything to make sure we had a great stay. This was a lovely stay, at Casal do Varatojo. Sara and the whole family were wonderful. We enjoyed a yoga class, and my daughter loved the surroundings, Fátima, the pool, the friendship with Camila, everything really. The blackout happened during our stay, and I'll never forget how they were so proactive in providing information and all that was needed to make our lives easier. Thank you for everything!

What a wonderful stay we had at Sonia and Rui’s house. It was very well equipped, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were both very responsive, helpful and friendly. The area is very quiet with nice neighbours. There are 2 balconies with a lovely view of the lake, a barbecue, and the house itself is very spacious. The village shop is a short car journey, which is well stocked. We travelled mostly to Tomar (approximately 20 mins by car) where there are a fantastic range of larger supermarkets and restaurants. The direct water access was absolutely fantastic for us, and we spent most of our time on the water/at the lake. The launch itself is a short drive away, but not an issue to get to. The access to the lake is fairly steep, but walkable/accessible. Our 3 year old managed this fine, and couldn’t wait to go swimming in the lake everyday. There is also a shared condominium pool, and was quiet during our stay. We were sad to leave, but will be back!

The house has a fabulous situation, with excellent views of the Dam and a cozy balcony even on rainy days. The fact that we can even park the door helps with luggage. And the surrounding area is really nice, with an excellent swimming pool and the dam itself, both good for refreshing baths, which the heat here tightens in the summer... The owner was very friendly and available for any request from us.
