Monthly Rentals in Santana

We very much enjoyed staying at Fatima‘s apartment. It was super clean when we arrived and the little details waiting for us were truly thoughtful. It was super helpful to be able to park the car right next to the apartment as well as having the supermarket right next door. Thank you for having us!

Perfect location for us to travel around the beautiful north-eastern part of the island for 5 days. Very big kitchen which is nice for meal-prep for the day trips and cozy restaurants around the corner. In the "loft" there are only windows in the roof so you cannot really see outside. When you are travelling most of the time it is no problem but you should consider that if you want to have some lazy days. Anyway, for relaxing the terrace is a pretty place with a nice view to the green surroundings. In total we really enjoyed the time and Aldonis and Nati are very friendly hosts who told us about the area and gave us good advises where to go. Obrigado!

This is a fantastic apartment home. The place looks like in the pictures, with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Very large kitchen with all appliances and a peaceful backyard with morning sunshine. A very peaceful place near the top of a mountain with easy access to beautiful hiking places just a short drive away. The home is in FAIAL which is the best area for hiking and lookouts places. Also the best value in all Madeira. This area is the best for nature lovers and away from the more expensive places in Funchal. I’m definitely returning in the future. By the way, Marco is a great host, very proactive, with a lot of suggestions on places to go.

Rita rents out her family's former summer home in Santana. It is built in the traditional style and covered with straw. It is located in an incredibly beautiful garden, the only disadvantage of which is a very narrow driveway. Cars over 1.80 m could have problems. Overall, it is really exceptionally beautiful and atmospheric. There is plenty of seating in the garden. Rita is a nice and easily accessible host. She welcomed us with a complete package consisting of fruit basket, bread, milk, butter, cheese. Even coffee capsules were plentiful The Internet is super fast at 250 MBit. An important point regarding the situation: In the north of Madeira, it is cooler anyway, but we have observed that the temperatures around the house were regularly 3-5° below the forecasts from Santana. That is, it is really fresh there and also decidedly more humid (important in winter) Overall, it was a very nice stay.
