Vacation rentals with beach access in Santa Monica

The stay at Steve's place was pleasant in every aspect. The location of the accommodation is great, the metro is just a few minutes' walk away and you can also easily walk to the Santa Monica Pier. The accommodation had everything we needed and there were also beach towels. The contact with Steve was uncomplicated and very friendly. A definite recommendation all in all!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The place was spotlessly clean and felt incredibly secure, which we really appreciated. It was clear the host has thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Speaking of the host, he was responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. We had a truly great stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

We loved staying at this cute little bungalow. The location was perfect, the decor was cute, and there was plenty of space. One of the things that was a blessing, there was TP, paper towels, and a few necessities that we did not have to run out and purchase more. Access to beach towels, chairs, and bikes was a plus. The location was easy in and out and the parking space was a bonus. There was just 1 day that someone parked in our space so we took our car to our sons and parked there, luckily he was close. I would highly recommend this space to anyone traveling to Santa Monica, it was just perfect! Thanks and happy summer.

Had a great solo stay at Vidal’s spot! The location was perfect—walkable, close to the beach, and easy to settle into. The place was clean, peaceful, and just like the photos. Vidal was super friendly and quick to respond, which made the whole experience smooth. Just a couple small things to keep in mind—it’s more of a studio layout with a sectioned-off bedroom space (which still worked well for me), and the bed was a bit softer than I prefer. Still, nothing that took away from a really solid stay. Would definitely come back!

Fantastic location! A quick walk to third street promenade, pier, and all the other shops and restaurants nearby. I stayed for a week and felt right at home. Host was quick to respond and was very communicative about check in and out process. Overall had a lovely stay and would definitely book again next time i’m in the area!

I really enjoyed staying here. Host was very responsive and helpful, making sure to check in with us to make sure everything is up to standard. Secured parking spot in garage, the apartment was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed and so much more. Walking distance from plenty of restaurants and the Santa Monica boardwalk. Nick is a nice guy, we checked in a little earlier than regular time and he let us in as soon as the room was ready. Some minor problems exists during the stay, but Nick was always respond on-time and provide good solutions. The room was fantastic, turst me, he really make everything with his hospitality. The only cons part of this place might be the view, the view of the balcony might not be astonishing as it faced to another building. And as this is Santa Monica, you will expect what kind of neighbourhood you are in. Generally speaking this place is really good. The interior was fantastic.

Augustin - Matthew co-host - was very kind to us and answered all our questions quickly. The house is adorable, even more than in the pictures. We had a great stay and will definitely come back.

Our second time staying here and it was just as good as the first. It is a gem and the perfect place to spend quality family time together. Beautiful!

It was a great Airbnb! We had a 6 month old and Clay was so accommodating. There was a crib, toys, extra sheets, baby shampoo/soap. We were grateful!

Shell House was the perfect stay to end our road trip! Courtney has been an ideal host, no question was too much, she was always quick to respond and so accommodating. The house it’s self was so idilic and the aesthetic fit the location. It was close to the beach and Abbott Kinney BL for shops, coffee and restaurants. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone considering a visit to LA to book Shell House.

The location is fantastic and very close to Santa Monica. I really enjoyed the stay and Chantal was very responsive and with everything that I needed she delivered it quickly! The room was clean and the space is very homey and private.

Perfect location, right in the heart of things. Immaculately clean. I love that you can see some of the ocean and sunset from the dining room and kitchen. Very spacious.

Amazing place, with a beautiful kitchen! The building itself was very quiet. Most everything was walkable, or at least a very short uber ride away! Any questions we had we got a response very quickly. A perfect stay for the weekend!

Great area! Short walk to the beach and a short drive to the pier. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and made dinner time easy. Comfy beds, big bathrooms and a nice quiet outside area. The house has great history and felt cozy. The kitchen area is an add on that can only be accessed through the courtyard area. Be prepared that you will hear the owners/occupants above you when they walk and you often can hear them talking.

very cute and comfy home for my husband and 2 kids. attended a music festival all weekend and was walkable the whole time. really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommended!

First off, Mo and Ness went above and beyond in terms of communication. They helped us get our booking sorted with less than 48 hours until we landed for our vacation after our previous host had to cancel last minute. While I was scrambling (at about 10pm) with Airbnb customer support, I reached out to Mo and explained our situation. He responded within about 10 minutes and graciously held the dates for us while I finished getting things sorted. The home was exactly what we were hoping for and was exactly as listed. The location was great. Little town noise during the day which was to be expected with the location but surprisingly very quiet at night with the local ordinances. The two porches were my favorite part of the property with lots of humming birds coming to visit. Perfect location for beach visits/canal walks and many great food and coffee options all within walking distance. We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. Truly hope to go back. Thank you very much!
