Our House is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, right in front of the Salt flats around Tavira and Cabanas where the Algarve cycle path from the very east of the Algarve runs all along the coastline towards the western end. Enjoy the stunning sea views from the upper terrace, the covered patio in the little garden or take a walk into nature to watch various birds. The local beach is a 25-30 min walk away as well as the center of Tavira with its many restaurants, bars/cafés and boutiques.

The villa in Luz de Tavira is located in a rural area and surrounded by typical Portuguese houses, greenery and close to the highway, making it a good base for exploring the region. Within walking distance is a local food market, cafes, pharmacy and an ATM. Renting a car is highly recommended, we have a double carport, free parking on the property and the villa is fully fenced & closed off with a gate. The whole property, house and swimming pool are private (our pool is not heated)

Close to the house you can enjoy all the services and commerce necessary for a comfortable stay without the need to move by car. Quinta da Ribeira brings together the best of both worlds: the peace and privileges of being in a rural area but close to an urban area.
