And an environment with a monumental complex formed by a Romanesque church with a crypt, a modernist cemetery and an Iberian village 5 minutes away. "The Coop" is a cosy, self-contained studio with stunning views of Montserrat, surrounded by nature. This is a haven for walkers, climbers and nature lovers as well as artists, writers and other creators seeking peace and tranquility. Only an hour from Barcelona, "The Coop" is on our property, where we live with our 2 dogs, 2 cats and laying hens. We share the mountain with insects, wild boar, deer and a wide variety of plants. The property is fenced all around.

Rustic Home in Montserrat

This rustic home situated in a secluded valley in Montserrat National Park, 60km from Barcelona was built after the Napoleonic wars. The legend has it that it was built with money stolen from the corpses of the defeated French soldiers after the battle of El Bruc. I rebuilt the house from a near ruin, respecting the original structure in 1992. I have decorated it with a notable and very personal collection of art. There is a picturesque view from every window.
