Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Tree house - in the heart of nature

In a forest edge on our farm overlooking vast fields, you can enjoy seclusion surrounded by the branches and foliage of the trees. The simple building stands on a plateau 2-3 meters above the ground between tree trunks. The branches of the trees form a roof over the small patio with a simple outdoor kitchen in front of the tent. You are completely off the grid but have access to a refrigerator and electricity at our farm where you can park, or borrow a cooler for food you bring with you. Private toilet with dry toilet and outdoor shower is 100 meters from the property.

Wood-fired sauna included! Experience the luxury of nature and simplicity. Just a hundred meters from the lake, surrounded by trees, lies your cabin. A place to just relax or hang out with no requirements. Take a morning swim in the lake or sit and cozy up in front of the wood stove. By the lake, there is also a wood-fired sauna that you can use freely. It's a special experience you don't want to miss. Tiveden National Park with its easily accessible and wild nature is a popular excursion destination we really recommend. We are happy to advise you about tours.

Cottage in Tiveden with lake view over Unden

Cozy guest house in the middle of Tiveden with lake view and nice walks, about 25 m2. Completely renovated in 2019. Stove, fridge, freezer compartment, toilet, shower, fireplace. The cottage is located close to the main house (see picture) but the plot is large. 140 cm bed, camping bed available on request. Good for families with 1 child, we have a trampoline and berry bushes. Approx. 5 km to Ösjönäs National Park, 25 km to the National Park's main entrance Between Tived/Sannerud, Tivedens Lanthandel (10 km) and Ica in Undenäs (10 km).

Small and cozy cottage in Tiveden

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. A personal little cottage with four beds that I alternately live in and thus I share my home with you dear guest. Close to Unden's clear water with the possibility of swimming. The national park is just over 10 km away with fantastic hiking, perhaps a trip to Sannerud, the old Tiveden general store now called Curry 23, which serves a sausage menu, drinks, beer & wine. About 2.5 km away, open Tuesday to Saturday 11:30 AM - 7:00 PM Many opportunities for experiences in Tiveden.

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all the amenities of our time but with saved details from the past. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's attractions are within walking distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are allergic to fur.

There you will find hiking trails, swimming areas, and mountain bike trails. There is a swimming area at Lake Unden (pebble beach) within walking distance at the small harbor. Tiveden Sannerud Lodge

Warm welcome to our little cozy house in Tiveden located in the village of Sannerud. The cottage has two rooms and a kitchen with a bathroom. Here you have a perfect location in the village where you can eat and drink well at Lanthandel and restaurant Luripompa, which is a 10-minute walk from our house. You also have Tiveden National Park 15 minutes' drive away by car. Adjacent to the house, there are several of Tiveden's cycling and hiking trails. Swimming is a 15-minute walk away.

Amazing view to lake Unden, the largest fresh water lake in Tived. Fantastic to swim in when it's warm in the summer. Amazing sunsets and a very peaceful atmosphere. Romantic. The area straight down from the cabin by the water doesn't belong to the property but welcomes respectful visitors.

On a ridge overlooking the beautiful archipelago of northern Vättern lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inclusions. Here, a slightly larger group/family can find recovery with proximity to nature, yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful small town of Askersund. Tiveden National Park is close to Harjebaden's long sandy beach. The house was ready in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.
