We had a lovely stay in Dunoon, it is a very quiet a peaceful place and we really enjoyed our stay. Paddy is friendly and helpful and her dog is beautiful and very sweet. Both beds were very comfortable, the shower was warm and powerful and the homemade bread was a great touch- we thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you again :)

The cottage was adorable and the location absolutely beautiful! We spent some time on the beach soaking in the sunset over the water. Phil was a fantastic host - super attentive and informative. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Had a wonderful stay at the cottage in Toward. The area is just outstanding, peaceful and dramatic. Spotted a dolphin or porpoise from the sunroom. The cottage is really cute, had everything we needed and outstanding views. The bed is comfortable; this is one of the most relaxing holidays we have had and will be back sometime. Cathy was really helpful with great communication. Highly recommended place.

It’s a wonderful place to stay! One of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s also centrally located on the Isle of Skye, which makes it a strategic spot to spend a few days. The accommodation is perfect and very peaceful ! Thank you Mags

Everything you need can be found in this beautiful cottage. Beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity. Add to that the view of the Isle of Skye and the immediate vicinity of the great Glenelg Inn with suberp food. What more could you want?

Our family had an amazing week here! We travelled with my parents and young child as well as a dog. The view over the loch is sensational and the Airbnb has everything we needed. John is a very kind and responsive host - couldn’t do enough for us. It’s remote and private with a pub nearby and another pizza restaurant open Thursday to Sunday nights. We were also very lucky with the weather which meant the most sensational views. Good base for exploring too as we were able to go to Inverary, Carrick Castle, Arkinglas House, Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and rent a boat on loch goil.

Donny and Alison's place was wonderful! Highly recommended quaint seaside cottage with beautiful landscaping. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Beautiful Cabins located in a quite area by the sea. A great place to start exploring the Isle of Skye!

We had an excellent stay at Cobblerview Apartment! The view was, of course, gorgeous - but the care that Carol & Don took in ensuring our stay was comfortable was greatly appreciated and made our experience especially enjoyable. The apartment is cosy and immediately inviting, with a sizable living room space and dining table positioned next to the window and looking out onto Loch Long. Though the view you have of the loch itself is expansive, we never felt as though we didn’t have enough privacy - aside from this window out onto the water, almost all of the natural light that filters in is through skylights. We never needed for utensils or utilities, Carol & Don provided a full range of crockery, cleaning supplies and towels It’s worth bearing in mind that as this is a waterfront property, the bugs are in abundance around summer and you’ll need to have your spray on if you want to sit out on the balcony this time of year!

One of the BEST Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at in terms of thoughtfulness, cleanliness & instructions. Not exaggerating. The location & view is outstanding & the whole experience idyllic. They really did think of everything a guest could need or want while touring Isle of Skye. None of us wanted to leave & we all would go back. Easy checkin/checkout. Many recommendations & clear instructions. We were so grateful for all the thoughtful touches & uncluttered space. I think a highlight for our party was simply the layout of the downstairs which was perfect for a dinner in with a view. We just enjoyed spending time there & wished we could be there longer. The Bolthole was the perfect weekend retreat for us. The cabin itself is very cosy, the log burner warms the place very quick and lots of pillows and blankets are provided. The amenities are great, we didn’t find ourselves wanting for anything (tea, coffee, salt, pepper, pots, pans, plates cutlery etc). Its location above the loch provides a great view, and is only a minutes walk to the water. Lovely warm shower and gas hob provided only 10 seconds from the cabin. The location feels very rural and off grid but is only a short drive (15 mins) to shops & restaurants in Inveraray, and a small shop in Dalmally. We would throughly recommend and will be likely to return!

Beautiful little place with a spectacular view. It was private, quiet, and had all the amenities that you need. Close to Glencoe and only 15 minutes from Fort William. We had a lovely stay. Would definitely return.

Brilliant stay in a fabulous location, Having stayed in the area for over 10 years on fishing trips this is the best, absolutely spotless lovely and cosy with views to die for, be it wildlife or weather watching (seen otters on the last day) it’s hard to move from the sofa or even put the tv on looking out the big picture window also it has the comfiest bed ever. The location is also excellent being close to Oban for restaurants, shopping etc but also for a lovely drives north to Glencoe etc also 2 mins away from the fabulous beach at Ledaig with its amazing views. Lovely little touches too, flowers and welcome pack with shortbread, tea, coffee milk and sugar to get you started. Will definitely be returning If I can loved it x.

We had a lovely few days at Loch Goil. Iain’s a great host, we very much enjoyed the quiche, scones and cakes he brought us. The views are beautiful, it’s lovely sitting on the sofa with panoramic views of Loch Goil. The house is lovely and finished to a high standard. There’s a lovely cafe you can walk to, and we enjoyed our walks in the community woodland.

Our stay was fantastic, especially given that we booked last minute after another place fell through. The host was incredibly responsive, making sure everything was ready for us. The real highlight was the breathtaking view overlooking the water, with mountains in the distance – truly picturesque! The house itself was spacious and ideal for our group, nestled in a private, peaceful spot that felt like a true retreat. The kids had a great time with the nearby beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and they loved exploring the vast open land surrounding the property. Another great part was the location – it’s about a 15 minute drive to Oban, a lovely town with plenty to do. It gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to town activities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquillity and the option of nearby excursions!

Mairi and Tony’s Little Fox Lodge is truly magical—especially since it’s where my fiancé proposed, making it forever special to us! That said, it genuinely feels like the perfect home away from home. Every detail is thoughtfully designed for comfort: heated floors, a cozy fireplace, a big-screen TV with multiple streaming options, a projector over an incredibly comfy bed, a beautiful bathroom, and a well-stocked kitchen filled with thoughtful touches. The stunning lake and mountain views, along with a nearby trail and gentle creek, add to the peaceful charm. After a day of exploring, soaking in the outdoor hot tub while listening to the rain on the pagoda roof was pure bliss. It’s an ideal romantic and restful escape—easy to find, close to major attractions, and surrounded by breathtaking views. We can’t wait to return for our anniversaries.

We had a lovely stay in Oban. The house had great views across the loch and was surrounded by a beautiful gardens. Easy and clear instructions to gain access to the house. The property was very clean and well appointed. Fiona was a perfect host who was very informative and responded quickly to our questions. Very easy to arrange taxis if you wanted a few drinks with your meal in Oban town. I would recommend booking an hour or so ahead of time. Overall a great stay. The suite was beautiful. The views and peaceful surroundings were priceless. We loved the area, but ended up spending more time at the rental than expected due to the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend.

Linda was a great host who provided a lovely stay for us. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a private and peaceful retreat with friends or family. The cinema room with the board games was a big hit. It comfortably slept 9 adult males and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
