Perhaps the greatest asset of this accommodation is its one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a completely DIY sauna, designed and built entirely by JP, with a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Indulge in a sauna experience you can only enjoy here, enveloped in the gentle warmth of the wood-burning stove. The room also has a traditional Japanese sunken hearth, typical of an old kominka house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The inn is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled in the mountains of Misasaki City, Okayama Prefecture. Right nearby is Nishi-Awakura Village, which is gaining attention as a village focused on regional revitalization and resettlement, and the area is characterized by a rich natural landscape of “satoyama” (wooded areas between cultivated fields). This facility allows you to experience the charms of Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture, including rural living experiences, accommodation, and support for those considering relocation. [Konohanou] The beginning and the idea behind the launch This project progressed with the feeling that everything was falling into place like a puzzle. The house was completed with the support of many people, and it was filled with joy and excitement without any hard work. We are having an indescribably pleasant time. I would like to invite those who are considering moving to Mimasaka City, Okayama to try living here. And I hope it will be a cozy second home for everyone. I've been doing a lot of things, like mixing a little bit of bacteria into the diatomaceous earth, burying crystal balls under the floor, and other things I've come up with.
