A multitude of historic sights and outdoor activities are catered for in the surrounding area.

Nestled in the heart of nature, but close to town, this one-bedroom apartment offers a rare opportunity (normally only available during retreats) to experience the deep serenity of the land, lovingly run by a Dutch and French couple. Wake up to breathtaking views of the Sierra da Estrela, and enjoy the rejuvenating spring water at every tap (incl shower). The pool is as natural as possible (little chemicals).

The house is located in the Mondego River Valley on walking distance of a beautifull isolated riverbeach. A great place to get away from the stressed world. Excellent for a couple or an individual who loves the simplicity, purity and silence of nature. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

The bathroom is enclosed for added privacy :) Enjoy a 20m2 south-facing terrace all day long. A morning snack is included in the price (fresh bread, jam, butter, coffee, tea, orange juice). We believe there's a little something for everyone in Cabeça, we can accomodate couples, single people, groups up to 6 people, families, and even pets!
