There are also frying pans and pots. There is no running water, so we fill water jugs with clean drinking water, which can be used for both cooking and washing dishes. The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

The cabin has a perfect location for a lot of hikings in the area: Preikestolen, Flørli, Kjerag and a lot of other places. It is only a few minutes by car to the Forsand quay, and departures for Flørli and Lysebotn.
