If you are looking for a quiet, historical, peaceful experience in northern Spain, this is it. The stone house is modernized and comfortable with three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The kitchen is excellent and it was wonderful to have an outdoor space to eat and lounge and enjoy the setting. We stayed five days and there are endless day trips to take to nearby towns, beaches, mountains, markets and restaurants. Diego was a fantastic host and Marta opened the house for us. Both responded immediately to any of our needs. We loved it.

There were 12 of us in the house, couples with children, and whatever I say would fall short. The house is spectacular in every way, location, cleanliness, size, comfortable, we thought it was amazing and we will definitely be back!! Rebeca is very friendly and helpful. It's well worth it.

Very nice and secluded small cottage, very quiet and private. We stayed just over a week - while small it has everything you need. Excellent base for the northern Picos and the coast, we did some great hikes! Would definitely recommend to nature lovers. Jose was very easy to reach and very accomodating with clear instructions and proactive attitude. In short, highly recommended!

The place, for a family with two children is fabulous. The views are incredible, and the urbanization is quiet and charming. From the terrace you can see the University of Comillas or Oyambre beach. You are next to the sequoias park and the A8 so you can move to other areas. The place is decorated simple, very comfortable and pleasant. Very well equipped. It's a place to repeat! In one word; tranquility. Very quiet area, if you like silence, this is your place, nature, peace... The house had everything you need, even some nice touches. Lots of light, everything was clean and tidy, the ideal garden. The balcony area is beautiful and the views are nice. The arrival and access were very easy, I would be happy to repeat the same stay.

Our stay in Comillas was simply perfect, and much of it is due to Rikke. From the first moment, she was an attentive, friendly host and always willing to help us with any questions or recommendations. She greeted us with a warmth that made us feel at home from the very first minute. The place exceeded all our expectations: clean, cozy, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You can tell that Rikke takes care of every detail with care. In addition, the location is unbeatable to explore Comillas and enjoy its coastal charm, unique architecture and delicious gastronomy. A really comfortable apartment for a family of four like ours. The location is fantastic, half an hour from almost all points of interest. Supermarket nearby, although you have to drive, there is no grocery store in the neighborhood. Finally, it was impeccable upon our arrival. We had a great stay at Fabian's apartment.

We really liked the place. We went with our baby and they provided us with a crib as well. Everything was very clean and with new furniture. The heating worked great. As for the parking space, behind the house there is a parking lot. And finally, I'd like to mention that Carmen's husband welcomed us and was very kind and flexible with the departure.

Rebeca is a very good host, very attentive at all times and the house is unclean, the stay could not be better, I recommend this accommodation 100%, very good experience

A magnificent place beautifully restored. Lovely grounds with an outdoor kitchen area under cover and the pool an added bonus. The views were just fabulous. Elena responded quickly to every message. Hopefully we will return for longer next time .

I wish to do not share places like this and keep it private :) The view is stunning! An amazing place to relax from daily noise! Nick and Kate were helpful and their place is gorgeous! I wish to spend more time in place like this: birds, cows, clouds, barbecue, sauna, walks, rain, mountains, fog.

A highly recommended apartment, everything is very clean and tidy according to the description.

We stayed 6 nights in mid June to explore the area, do some walking, visit places and to drive some of the scenic routes of the area. The place is high up above the valley up a fairly narrow road and through 2 small villages before you get to San Roman. Our host provided pictures showing how to find the house which was useful. The location is very quiet and surrounded by trees, fields and views of the mountains. Our host also provided lots of useful information about walks and scenic drives in the area, the nearest beaches on the coast and local recommendations where to eat. The cats that live round about kept us amused. We had a great time.

They've been unbeatable hosts. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos, with clear and simple instructions, with the detail of having left us a plate and treats for the dogs. The apartment has been ideal for our 3 and 5 year old children. It is a second floor without an elevator, but the stairs are low and the little one has gone up and down them easily and, since the street is pedestrian, he has had freedom directly on the street. Everything is 10 minutes or less away: beach, playground, parking, shops, bars, and restaurants.

Beautiful house just as is in the pictures. Fresh flowers in the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen gave it that little extra. Jose is a great host: both friendly and professional. The hiking opportunities are closeby, with stunning views. I'd definetely go again if I'm in the area.

We had a great time, it's a place where there's a lot of tranquility and you can enjoy the landscapes and nature. The cottage has everything, the truth is, it doesn't need anything, the location is very good since you are very close to many places of interest such as San Vicente de la Barquera, Cabezón de la Sal, the caves of Soplao, etc... There were two of us and 2 dogs and we enjoyed it a lot, especially our dogs since there is a private garden and it is quite large. The truth is that we were very happy in Manuel's cottage, we hope to return soon!

I can’t express how wonderful this rental was. Very close to town, so it was quick to get groceries. This small village was so quaint and beautiful. The view from the patio greatly exceeded our expectations. Such a lovely place to sit in the mornings and evenings.
