Overall, that's good. Comfortable. The floor of the passage is higher than all the other rooms. So there's a step to go up or down to each room. Good to know for those who have difficulty with stairs. We would have liked a fan with the air conditioning, it gets too cold and without too hot.

Excellent place and amazing host

Without a doubt, the jewel of the place is the view, it is impressive during the day, captivating at night, the bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom is clean, modern and pleasant. The place has stable Wi-Fi and is close to several restaurants. I definitely plan to return. It's a great place to rest from the city and connect with nature or for a romantic date.

A super quiet place!! You can see different species of birds and Doña Vera is always super friendly.

Comfortable and family place to enjoy in peace

Juan Carlos was very flexible. A group of my clients stayed there and were very happy with the stay. There was only one setback that was not in Juan Carlos' hands, since a nearby pipe burst and they were without water for a whole day. (This is not something that happens commonly) Juan Carlos very kindly left some bottles of water for the clients. The house is very nice, good location and just as described. Thank you!

Daniel and his team were amazing hosts! They were incredibly kind, always helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Casa Jungla was an unforgettable escape into the jungle—without ever leaving the city. I booked this as a surprise for my wife, who absolutely loves plants—and I couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The moment she walked in, her face lit up. Vines cascading from the ceiling, walls wrapped in greenery, and lush plants tucked into every corner... she was completely in love with the space. The home is a perfect blend of modern architecture and nature. The high ceilings and open layout let the jungle vibe breathe throughout the house. It feels like a living, breathing space. The kitchen is beautifully designed and functional, the live-edge wood dining table made every meal feel special, and the upstairs loft offered a peaceful retreat. The hosts were kind and responsive, and the place was spotless and exactly as pictured—if not better. If you love plants, peaceful design, and want to experience something truly unique in Costa Rica, Casa Jungla is a dream.

Excellent location and flexible check-in time

Jose‘s place was great. Right on the park which is a popular chill out spot during the weekends. Great coffee shop just below. Great view of the city. It was super clean and Jose was very responsive. Escalante is a super walkable area with great restaurants, if you’re into the foodie scene. It’s a very Hip and artistic area. The nightlife is great too that’s your thing. I would definitely recommend this place .

I honestly can't say enough good things about my three month stay at Laura's San José condo. Laura and her brother, William, were wonderful throughout the whole stay, always helpful and responsive. THE CONDO: Looks just like the pictures and is very well furnished for long stays! They even had a pet bed and toys there for my pup! You'll spend lovely afternoons on the balcony watching the Pericos fly by. Condo has AC, but you hardly need it. My stay also came with weekly cleaning! THE COMMUNITY: Very welcoming. Everyone is extremely friendly. If you stay for awhile, try to get plugged into the community group chat. Avalon Country Club is a gated community with a lovely lake right behind the building and manicured gardens throughout. The elevated pool overlooks the San José valley. Right outside the gate are a vet and groomer, and a small corner store/grocery. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would rent this unit again.

Nice place. Worth the money

Everything in Costa Rica is amazing and how would Janet and her apartment not be? Very well located, large and comfortable apartment with everything you need to have a great stay, both short and long! The hostess is excellent, very friendly, if you are Brazilian like me, don't be afraid of your portunhol, she strives well to understand, as well as speak English very well. I travel a lot through Latin America and Europe and recommend 100%! Gracias, Janet!

Ricardo’s place is great! San Jose downtown as well as the airport are very easy to reach from his place. Communication and check-in went very smoothly.
