Cottage vacation rentals in San Nicolás del Puerto

We picked it up to escape the routine, and we were quite surprised by everything, both the house, and the place it was located (in the middle of the mountain), and the kindness of the hosts. It's a very cozy place and helps to disconnect a lot of things. We don't have any sticks, we'll be back!!

We went to the country house with friends and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The idea that the bedrooms are downstairs and the rest of the rooms in the house are upstairs seemed very good to us for those who wanted to rest. Everything was very clean and the house is as shown in the listing. Alejandro is very friendly and gave us perfect directions to get there and to the parking area, since it's a small town and not all the streets are suitable for parking. Besides, the village is beautiful. We will definitely be back !!!

This is a beautiful little house at the centre of a traditional white village. It is situated on a tiny square with a tiny hermitage opposite within walking distance of several great value bars and restaurants as well as a couple of small supermarkets. It is well located for walking etc in the nearby natural parks or trips to Cordoba and Seville (don't miss the hidden gem that is Castille de Almodovar del Rio - the real life Highgarden from Game of Thrones!). The house itself is spotlessly clean, well equipped with a lovely courtyard garden and a great rooftop space for sunbathing or relaxing in the evening. And of course the jacuzzi spa is fabulous. The way it is set out (two pairs of double bedrooms separated by the living area) would make it comfortable for two families to share if they wanted. Though there is no dedicated parking, there are several spaces in the square and if these are full (2 out of 6 nights for us) there is a large free car park at the top of the hill just 2 minutes walk away, which is hardly used. The only slight problem (We liked this!) Is that you will probably be just about the only non Spanish in the village. Be prepared to use Google translate on menus etc, and to be a focus of intense interest to the village kids! Overall, extremely highly recommended for a relaxing retreat away from it all!

A wonderful vacation in a fantastic Casa Rural, which will remain unforgettable for us. With the warm welcome from Reyes and Luis (who were always there for us) we immediately felt at home. In the house with the pretty patio, the beautifully tiled bathrooms, etc. also really like in Andalusia. The two Jacuzzis are then the absolute icing on the cake. We visited Cordoba and Seville by train from the train station, which is a 3-minute walk away, and explored the nearby area (Carmona!) by car. In the afternoon, we looked forward to returning to our oasis of relaxation. Restaurants in the village itself difficult, but supermarkets within 2 minutes' walk and butcher shop next door. It was terrific and we will be happy to come back...only longer!

Sabine and Juan are the perfect hosts; friendly, responsive, and personal. Their place is a hidden gem with unobstructed views of the nearby town and beautiful surrounding landscape. The large pool and family-friendly facilities ensures everyone’s entertained during their stay. I can’t recommend this place enough

Marcos welcomed us great, explained and showed us around the house, and offered for any questions/needs that came up. The house is great to take advantage of a few days with friends, both in the summer (with the pool and barbecue with lots of shade), and in winter (living room with fireplace and porch in the sun). And the beautiful environment, right next to the Huéznar and with the center of the village with everything you need a stroll or 5 min drive. We'll be back for sure.

The accommodation is excellent and the service and attention of the staff was even more so. We had a problem with a previous listing as it didn't match the photos or description, we got the money back and we found Antonio's place. We had to take another trip, they took care of us on the same day, very late and made everything very easy for us. The service was professional and very close. The accommodation is perfect and the jacuzzi is impressive, we had everything you need to heat up the jacuzzi and light the fireplace, still, there is heating in all the rooms. We were really comfortable. The village is also very nice, it eats luxury. We'll definitely be back.

The house with all the necessary supplies. Clean and tidy. Beautiful views with an incredible sunset. Cristina was helpful at all times, in contact from the start. Involved and willing to help with any questions that arose. He gave us clear directions to get to the house, because Maps gives you different routes, but with his directions there was no getting lost. All in all a great spot.

the space is really fantastic. large living room and spacious bedroom. the garden and pool are fantastic, with plenty of sunbeds. the surroundings are beautiful. definitely recommended

We spent the weekend with friends and since before we arrived they were already giving us facilities and recommendations of how to get there and where to buy in the nearby villages. The house was impressive and was pristine with all kinds of kitchenware and equipped bathrooms. The experience was incredible, 100% recommended.

Beautiful, large, stay great internet and much to do. Equipo Alohamundi's service goes very far. I had forgotten part of a medical device and they really went out of their way to arrange the part. Totally top!

We were very comfortable. It's a very cozy house to spend a few days with your people and enjoy the pool and a good barbecue or paella. We would definitely repeat!

We had a great time at Patricia’s place. Lots of privacy without neighbours, surrounded by olive trees. Very clean, very well equipped. Patricia communicated well and gave us a warm welcome. She also prepared a huge breakfast selection - thanks again!

A beautiful place and lots of ground to walk around, there are animals like horses, sheep and a couple of fawns, a small swamp with a couple of ducks, frogs so the kids have really enjoyed it. The house is very well conditioned, with everything you need, it has a double bedroom, two connected bedrooms and the one upstairs with 4 single beds with the drawback that it is open to the living room and with a steep staircase so it is not suitable for elderly people or for very young children. It has a swimming pool and the views from there are great and there is a lot of tranquility

We have been very quiet, enjoying nature. We walked to the village. You can enjoy nature as well as close to the comforts of the village. Good coverage. We recommend spending a few days in this spectacular environment.

We had an amazing weekend at Villa Colorín. It's impressive how clean and well-kept the house is, considering how much space it has. It doesn't lack a single detail, all kinds of amenities and facilities to enjoy a lot as a family. Spaces for the little ones so they don't get bored for a second. Super comfortable beds and a very pleasant smell in all the rooms. Super attentive and helpful owners, making everything easy from the start. To say that they gave us the opportunity to enjoy the last day until we wanted, since they didn't have any subsequent reservation. We recommend it 100%. The perfect villa for our girls weekend! The host was very friendly and helpful throughout. The garden area, pool, terrace is all beautiful and the living areas are so spacious. We also loved the rustic traditional decor. The location is very peaceful with mountain views but keep in mind that you definitely need a car to get to nearby shops as there’s nothing within walking distance. Thanks for an amazing stay!
