We had a really great stay at Kahaya. The location was perfect — it’s close to Surf Town with all the bars and restaurants, and also near the town proper where you can find markets, banks, and popular places like Masa. Even though it’s near these busy areas, the place itself is quiet and not crowded, so it’s a nice little escape. The unit was very clean when we arrived. It’s also pretty big, which is perfect for bigger groups like ours. There are two bedrooms that can comfortably fit 14 people. The kitchen is fully funtional, so we were able to cook our own meals instead of eating out all the time, which saved us some money. The living area is spacious, and there’s a workspace — great if you need to do some work while relaxing. Something I really appreciated is that each bed has three pillows!! That was a big plus for me because I don’t sleep well with just one pillow. It made a big difference! Both the hosts and Ate Crystal, the caretaker, were very responsive.

The place is so nice and clean. The things are complete thus, we are able to cook and prepare our food. There's a lot of clean bathrooms that we can use which saves us a lot of time. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. There are also board games, speakers and mic for videoke, which we enjoyed a lot. As for the service, Neil is very proactive and accomodating. We felt very comfortable despite of uncontrollable circumstance. All-in-all, we really enjoyed staying in his place. Highly recommended!

Great location, a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Lovely and spacious place. Cozy beds, cold ACs, clean floors. Would love to stay here again soon!

This is our second time staying here, and I’m happy to say the experience is just as great as the first. The place is spotless, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the kitchen is fully equipped for light cooking. The host is consistently responsive and genuinely accommodating, which really adds to the comfort of the stay. One of the things that makes this spot stand out is the pole and aerial studio right next door - a rare and fun bonus, especially if you’re into movement or looking to try something new. It’s best for a family to stay. There’s a lot of bed. I think it’s better if you included towels. We can cook and even grill. There’s a sufficient bathroom and washroom. The area near the market so you save on food. Overall it’s great!

It was the perfect location for us since we'll only have to cross to get to the beach & Elyu's top spots. 😁 Ate Jovy was very responsive and everything was communicated accordingly. We'll definitely book this place again since it's also a budget-friendly accommodation. 👍🏾

Kalgow La Union is a a beautiful retreat in San Juan. The ambience and decor were beautiful, the beds were plush, the pool area was so chic relaxing, and the overall experience was warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this getaway to anyone heading out to San Juan.

Shiella Mae was really helpful and really fast at replying messages. The house was really clean and modern and it had all the amenities.

Kaykayo is beautiful place! I wish I would have booked it at least for 3 days instead of just one night to really enjoy the scenery. Big enough to accommodate a big family. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Had a great stay at Malou’s. The place was just like in the photos. Beautiful place and very near the beach. The beach felt like our own private one as there were only a couple of people around. Malou and her team are very responsive and accommodating. Will definitely stay again!

The place is sulit! accessible to palengke, grocery shop and other fastfood chains. Okay also yung accommodation itself, rooms, kitchen and CRs. Basic kitchen utensils are available pero if you’re cooking big batches need to bring your own kawali and kalderos. Okay din yung neighborhood, hindi maingay and we did nit encounter a problem naman during our stay.

When me and my family saw the house we were all amazed of how beautiful the place was. The inside was very much aesthetic and spacious for 16+ guest. The places that we visit are not that far and the host was very chill, kind, and responsive! Our experience at their place was worth it! We will definitely come back again!🤗❤️

Chino was accomodating and quick to respond to our queries. There's also Ate Lorie, the housekeeperl. She is nice and helpful. She gave us directions and tips on how to go to places we wanted to visit (esp. if you will ride the jeep since it is cheaper). The place is peaceful, relaxing, and spacious. We like its vibe — cozy and nostalgic. It also runs in solar power which was useful when we experienced a whole day brownout. We're comfortable despite the heat outside. The beach is just a minute walk from the house and far from the busy crowd of Urbiztondo. It's also cleaner and calmer as there are only few resorts nearby. We got to enioy the beach for ourselves. As much as we wanted to stay longer at this house, we needed to go home. Definitely coming back to this place and recommending it to others who want to visit San Juan, La Union.

Loved Aki's place. The property has a lot of "spots". A front terrace-ish spot with chairs facing the beach connected to the main bedroom, a cozy veranda, and a bonfire area with chairs, not to mention the 2 bedrooms they have. Loved the cozy and comfy feeling it gave us. The beach is literally just in front of you, a laid-back ocean waves. The parking area is just 1 minute away. As a Pinoy, a generous set of cookware and utensils is definitely a plus! Comfy pillows, beds, and cold AC. I actually did not expect both rooms to have their own smart television... not a necessity, but they went extra for that. The caretaker, ate Rachel is also kind and nice! The entire place is so spacious! If we ever need to go back to Bauang again sometime soon, we will definitely book here again. What you see is what you get!

A hidden gem away from the town proper’s busyness and action. Perfect for wfh people or who just want a peaceful place to stay.

Great place with a quick access to the sea. The area is not yet developed so we had the whole beach to ourselves. It instantly became a place for healing and relaxation. We were totally recharged after our 3-day stay. 😇

We stayed at The Gunyah for 5 days. Sir Dan, his wife, and the staff were very accommodating. They responded quickly to our requests and questions, which made our stay very comfortable. From the place itself to transportation and recommendations on things to do around Elyu, everything was well taken care of. If you’re looking for the quieter side of Elyu, this place is highly recommended. It’s about 7–10 minutes from the town center. While it’s a bit inside the area, tricycles are easily accessible. Overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing stay at The Gunyah!
