Vacation rentals with beach access in San José Province

Beautiful setting right next to the national park. Easy, quick walk to the beach or park entrance depending on which way you turn. Plenty of good restaurants around as well. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus for us. Several convenience stores within a short walk for food and drinks. Would definitely love to stay here if visiting Manuel Antonio again. Andrea was wonderful with her messages and making sure all was well.

Very nice place with lots of amenities. the bed does seem like a full size but more an xl twin, 2 people might have difficulty sleeping in it. the view from the porch is spectacular. You do have to climb a lot of steps to get to the place. Also, its halfway between the beach and 'town' so if you don't have a car, its a lit if steep climbing. It's a very charming place.

Excellent service, a very nice and pleasant place to spend time as a family and enjoy.

Exceeded expectations. All the sounds and sights of the jungle without the bugs. We found the location to be ideal - we were able to walk to our hikes that did not otherwise have parking and then drove to dinner where parking was included. Linda was an excellent host who went out of her way to give recommendations and help us troubleshoot our first time in Costa Rica!

This was a perfect stay for our time in Manuel Antonio. Short walk to the national park, beach and many restaurants. Paolo was a great host and very communicative and helpful with local recommendations.

Our stay in Manuel Antonio was nothing short of magical. Though the space was compact, it was beautifully designed and felt like a hidden gem nestled in nature. The panoramic view was absolutely stunning—easily one of the best we’ve seen. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, the hygiene standards were top-notch, and the overall vibe was serene and refreshing. An unforgettable stay at an unbeatable price!

We had an amazing stay at the home. Maud was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Great local recommendations and even helped booked a reservation for my wife’s birthday dinner. We hired Chef Ezequiel to make lunch the first there. A gem of a home nestled in the jungle, 10/10 views and close to great beaches (we loved Playa Ventanas and Playa Hermosa). Felt far away from tourist bustle. Comfortable chairs and beds, great kitchen. Do just be sure to bring your own shampoo and detergent. Host was responsive and helpful. We saw toucans, coati, agouti, and other birds here. Heard monkeys.

Stuart’s place was an ideal location for a private and peaceful getaway. The property itself had great amenities - especially the pool and the surrounding landscape. It was centrally located to bars, restaurants and beaches in Uvita and two neighboring towns - but far enough away to feel like we were in the middle of the jungle. Stuart was a great host. His place definitely made our vacation!

Plenty of room for a family of 5! The pool was a hit with the kids and the views were incredible. Clean and private and not far from beaches, waterfalls and food.

We had the best stay at Val and Oscar’s home. Our group had 1 family in the upstairs apartment and the other family in the downstairs apartment, and it was such a great arrangement for our group. The apartments were both beautiful and comfortable, and we absolutely loved the outdoor space. The kids loved the pool and we layed out in the hammocks and watched scarlet macaws fly by. We would love to come back again someday. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect! The location and the house all met our expectations. Danny & the team were always kind and approachable. When we found that wasps were building a nest at the house, the team was there within an hour and the issue was resolved immediately. The pool was clean and in the best condition. We had the best vacation and would be happy to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful and peaceful. It was exactly as pictured in the photos, which made arriving feel even more exciting. The highlight was definitely the infinity pool, which offered breathtaking views and the perfect place to relax. Communication with Cindy was smooth and easy from the very beginning. I highly recommend this stay and can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for four days and had the most amazing time. I had tears in my eyes saying goodbye to Emerita. She and Diogenes were wonderful hosts who helped us with any questions and pointed out a baby sloth that we never would have seen without her pointing it out. It’s truly a magical place, Déborah. Thank you for your timely responses, accurate description, and recommendations. For those considering—know thyself! If you freak out over bugs, this isn’t the place for you. It’s Pura Vida. My son, daughter , and I loved everything! Morning Mother’s Day walk solo on the beach was perfection. We will return!!!!

I had a wonderful stay at Fanny’s place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect – close to everything but still peaceful and quiet at night. Fanny was a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and always happy to help with any questions. I really appreciated her attention to detail and the warm welcome. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend her place to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect location between Emilio's Cafe and Hotel Mariposa. We walked to every fantastic meal we enjoyed. Loved the pool and the monkeys. Host's assistant Hector was very helpful and responsive. Thank you!!

Nice view of the ocean, matched the online description well.

We absolutely loved this airbnb!! The view was incredible and the access to the beach made it so simple to enjoy our time. It’s the perfect location close by to Jaco, Manuel Antonio, and rainmaker, while being in a less touristy/ less crowded area. The entire complex felt incredibly safe, including the beach. There’s many stores nearby for groceries as well! Carrie was also incredibly helpful before and during our stay! Any questions we had, she responded within the hour and truly made this trip even better! Highly recommend!
