Another space may be set on this second house for guests who require a street-level bedroom. This traditional Oaxacan house, that has four beds, was handcrafted by local artisans in exquisite adobe walls, a shading porch, furnishings and decor. It nestles in gardens of trees and blooming succulents. Guests enjoy multiple level terraces, hammocks, an outside dining area, a 22-meter lap pool and spectacular mountain views. We are in a Zapotec town with nearby restaurants and have easy transportation to Oaxaca city (20 minutes). We offer tours to villages and archaeological sites.

Our house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. The private heated pool awaits for a relaxing swim after a full day exploring ruins or touring the nearby pueblos! Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

Outside there is a shared kitchen that you can use to prepare your own food. The cabin is located on the international highway that connects the capital with tourist places such as Tlacolula de Matamoros, Mitla or Hierve el Agua. All kinds of public transportation pass by on the road: bus, van, or taxi.
