We had a nice stay at this place with amazing fauna and flora. We also enjoyed a tour offered by Douglas by boat on the canals with a guide, this tour was great, we were able to observe many birds and caimans.

Marta's House! Celeste River

OvidioRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The place is actually too good for the price, but it is very far from the central valley. Maybe that makes up for it. However, it is very spacious and has many facilities. The presence of "bugs" is low for being in this location and the conditions are pleasant. It's easy to assume that on future visits to the area, we will definitely stay in this house again.

Romantic hut on our cocoa farm

MarioRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Susanne's cottage is very nicely located in her lovingly landscaped and well-kept garden. We immediately felt integrated into family life upon arrival and felt very comfortable for the 3 days. Susanne, her husband and her 4-year-old son are very loving and we learned many interesting things about the country and nature. The food that Susanne prepared was also very tasty. In short, it was very pleasant days.

Blue River Rincon Volcano Reserve

TerryRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Ryan and Amelia's place was a wonderful home away from home. Gonzalo was exceptionally helpful, arranging transportation, handling errands, and introducing us to Johan, our excellent local guide. Johan took us on fantastic horseback rides to a waterfall and to the nearby hot springs. The property boasts incredible views of the Rincon De La Vieja Volcano and the Blue River, with easy access to the river. Be aware that an all-wheel drive or 4x4 vehicle is necessary to navigate the road to the property, but the reward is well worth it! We definitely plan to stay here again on our next Costa Rican adventure.
