Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! With boundless bird life including Osprey, the gardens make an ideal spot for birdwatching. Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. Here you will find bespoke shopping, restaurants along with the historic Priory.

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

One of the best natural harbours in Europe, the Royal Navy had a base here until 1956. Now oil rigs line up in the Firth and liners visit every week in the summer season. Invergordon's spectacular murals are a must see!

The brewery sits on one side with organic farmland, farmhouse and vegetable patch on the other. You are 10 minutes from Inverness by car and 20 minutes from Inverness airport. Please note that the hut doesn't have wifi but we have books and games to keep you
