Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Salmon River

Collin’s camp had just what we needed for a recent visit to family! We were grateful to find a place where we could bring our pups. The view is so peaceful and it was a great place to relax during a busy family weekend!

We’ve stayed here twice before and plan on many more. The place is cozy, roomy and clean. The host is great very informative and responsive. We look forward to many more memories being made.

Came up for the weekend from Pa to fish at Oneida lake for the weekend with our bass boat. Worked perfect for parking the boat in driveway. Home was perfect for a little weekend getaway!

We had a blast here. It was super cute and had a cool vibe. It was unseasonably cold so we didn’t get to check out the kayaks but the fire pit was a huge hit with our family and the fireplace inside was so awesome since it was so cold. The hosts were extremely flexible and I love that we can bring our pups next time we visit. Thank you for a safe and cozy place to stay while we put on a wedding.

This place is the perfect getaway for a peaceful time. Our wonderful host Paula was very responsive and made everything so easy for us to feel comfortable! 10/10 would recommend.

Joseph and Darya were excellent. They communicated all essential information, home had a list of stores, restaurants etc. Darya replied promptly to any inquiries I had. This is a lovely home in an amazing neighborhood. We found the Wegmans grocery that was a 4 minute drive to be exceptionally nice and were able to get everything we needed. The grill was great and the outdoor space is beautiful. We especially enjoyed watching a rather chunky ground hog eat his way up and down the hill. The kitchen and dinning room provide plentiful, comfortable seating for the entire family and having several areas indoors to sit and visit was a definite plus on the rainy days. It is a great place to have a large group (9) be able to enjoy spending time together. The location is quiet but close enough to easily get to Green Lakes Park, Syracuse University, the mall and the zoo. I'm sure there were a lot of other places near by but we ran out of time to do more.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Dylan’s with 3 others for 3 days and it was a beautiful, clean home. We had no issues with anything . Dylan responded to us no problem, the house looked even more beautiful than the pictures, the pool was a good temperature, the hot tub was our favorite thing in the backyard. We used the fireplace and it was really nice as well as the grill, we loved making food on there too. Overall it was an amazing experience Dylan was great with communication and hospitality. I would definitely book with him again.

Ken is very kind, friendly, helpful and funny. His house and yard are gorgeous and the view of Lake Ontario is unbeatable! The hot tub, deck with fire table, pool and the seating with a fire pit out in the yard are perfectly set up. We wouldn’t couldn’t ask for more! The town of Pulaski is not far and easy to get to if you ever need but the sunsets are so beautiful you may not want to leave the house! Selkirk Shores State Park is only a couple minute drive and can be seen from the yard. We really love staying here each year when we come upstate to go salmon fishing. It’s the perfect fancy retreat after a day in the woods. We’ve started bringing our daughter and parents this year and even those who don’t fish were just happy to hang out at the house and enjoy the amenities. The view alone is worth the price how nice the house is and how kind Ken is, are an amazing bonus! I can’t say enough good things! We will return!

What a find! Right across from beautiful City Hall with their carillon bell melodies and Romanesque revival architecture. This apartment is walking distance to Armory Square, Wildflowers Armory, and the Erie Canal museum. They have two indoor basketball courts, a wet and dry sauna, pool, hot tub, fitness center, library, art gallery, pool tables, football, co-working space, and a sports bar. Amazing security, and accommodating management. Rooms are modern and spacious, and hearing the bells come was such a nice element. Easy to access laundry and garbage chutes were also convenient. There's even a tunnel to a nearby parking garage which leads directly to the elevators. Good location, world class amenities, and there is even a new adjacent restaurant that is finishing construction. Best choice in Syracuse for a long term stay. 10/10 would recommend.

Friends meeting up from multiple states booked to have a group space for the most of our time together. We found this listing due to looking for a hot tub, and booked because of goats LOL. Whole house was spacious and immaculate, kitchen had anything we needed (and so much more!) bedrooms and bathrooms had additional amenities. The goats were a treat and endless entertainment, the hot tub/screen porch was the social hang highlight. Breakfast quail eggs was a first for all, and the fresh chicken eggs was such a unique touch. We all hope to come back next year and will look to book as soon as the Amp schedule is posted! (We met up for a show at The Amphitheater, and it was so easy to get to and from- no freeway traffic to deal with!!) This place is a quiet gem not to be passed up! I grew up in SYR and have been out of state for 17 years, and this was convenient to everything I wanted to see and do while home!

Tony’s house was beautiful! So spacious with an amazing patio and relaxing hot tub. Everything was so neat and clean we all felt right at home! Would absolutely go again!

Cheryl’s place was charming and very spacious! The beds were very comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and the location was very convenient to Syracuse and the surrounding area. We didn’t use the dining room but it would have been a great space for a large group. Cheryl was very responsive and check in was easy. We will definitely be back.

Janice was an amazing host from start to finish! She was quick to respond back to any questions I had prior, while we were there and even after. The house was amazing and offered everything and anything you would need. Literally just had to bring clothes and food that’s it! The house was super clean, organized and looked just like the photos. Literally, I was not blind sided by anything. Everything she wrote about the house was everything we had and saw when we got there. I would recommend this place to anyone! My friends and I will definitely be renting from Janice again!!!

This cabin was like a dream. It was perfectly ready upon our arrival. It was secluded, peaceful, and the most relaxing stay you could possibly ask for. The big window by the bed was magical. All you could see was the beautiful greenery surrounding the cabin. You feel like you are the only people in the world. I can’t wait to continue to go back there. ❤️

Lovely place! Location was great! Place was cozy, clean, and a wonderful home away from home. We will definitely look to be staying here again when in the area!

We really enjoyed the snag and drag. Cozy little cottage was perfect for our snowmobile trip. Located directly on the trail. Had everything we needed to cook our meals and relax after long days of riding. John was very helpful and answered all my questions quickly. Would definitely go back again.

This was a great heavily-wooded location for primitive camping for a fishing trip on the Salmon River. It is less than two miles from the Altmar Fishing Access site and only about four miles from Pineville. The curving downhill entrance road (dirt) leads to a nice level crushed stone area for setup that is not visible from the road. The locked chain across the driveway affords a bit of security.

If you are in the upstate, New York area, looking for a place to stay near Lake Ontario, look no further. Aside from the location and accommodations of the airbnb, Mike and Judy are world class hosts. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome, and at home, they have plenty of great insight about the area and even helped me get out of a jam I created for myself when I got stuck in a spot I shouldn’t have driven. We will absolutely be staying with them again and anyone looking in this area would be lucky to stay in one of their facilities.

Karen's cabin was great, clean and had everything we needed for a restful evening. The property was beautiful and we wish we had more time to stay in the area for enjoy the outdoors a bit more. We will definitely stay here at a future date.

This place was amazing- both inside and outside! There was plenty of room for 3 families (10 of us) and we appreciated that the rest of our family (Bella, Addie Mae and Willow) could join us as well! We spent all 4 days and 3 nights at the rental as there was absolutely no reason to leave! We even had pizza and wings delivered from the Pulaski Stephano’s and ate it at the waterside deck our 1st night! The 2nd night we did take out dinners from the Altmar Hotel and cooked steaks on the grill our last night there! Although the temps were way below normal and we had one day rained out, we were able to get in a campfire, do some fishing, canoeing and kayaking! The grandchildren had a lot of fun in the lower level game room. The fact that 4 kids were hardly ever on their devices, attests to the fact that this place had a lot to keep them entertained, both indoors and outdoors! I couldn’t imagine a better setting to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our immediate family!!!
