Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Salmon

This was a great little house in Salmon! We rode our bikes to town and enjoyed the weekend. Andy was proactive and easy to communicate with. Thanks Andy!

What a beautiful and relaxing space. The kitchen was so well stocked and a joy to cook in. The laundry facility was an excellent plus! Stephen and Linda were wonderful and even let us know to watch for the elk across the river in the evening. As far as location, on the river and so close to the Goldbug hot springs, it was perfect!

Central location in Salmon, easy access, had the amenities I needed. The people I interacted with during my stay were awesome! So friendly and welcoming and helpful. Genuinely interested in making my stay great--for that reason I would absolutely recommend.

Quiet, peaceful place to stay. Right next the river which had fairly easy access. You do have to crawl over a fence but that didn’t bother us at all and there was an easy trail down to the river. Large fenced in area for dogs that was shared with the ranch dogs, Callie and Chief. They were very friendly and would love to be let in for some loves! Caretakers kept to themselves but were friendly and onsite if needed.

Goldbug Getaway was absolutely spectacular! The hosts were amazing, offering warm, welcoming hospitality. They were readily available to answer any questions, making me feel right at home. The property itself was immaculate. The cleanliness and attention to detail were truly outstanding. From the well-maintained bedrooms and common areas to the pristine bathroom and kitchen, everything was spotless. Speaking of the kitchen, it was fully equipped with everything I needed to prepare my meals. It's those little touches that make a big difference. The views were breathtaking. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This house is cute and cozy! Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly neighbor cat. There’s enough parking in front of the house for at least 2 cars. Check-in was super easy with a code lock door. The entire place was clean and had everything we needed during our stay and more including shampoo, toothpaste, etc and kids’ toys. Check out instructions were minimal and reasonable (take out trash, wash dirty dishes, strip beds, lock door when leaving). House is pretty close to the main part of town so it would be easy to walk to the shops and the neighborhood was quiet. We would absolutely stay here again!

The place was just as described, very homey and comfortable. Peaceful surroundings that are dog friendly and you're right in the middle of so many options of activities to do; fishing, hiking, hot springs, old mines/ghost towns and small or bigger towns to explore. Richard and his wife were very nice and friendly offering any help if needed and opening up his gallery so we could admire his art work! Thank you Richard for the wonderful place to stay on our little vacation!

The house worked great for us. We will definitely rent from them again. Location was great for us.

This cozy little cabin is truly a hidden gem! Nestled on top of a quiet mountainside overlooking a beautiful lake, it was everything we needed for a peaceful escape. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely surrounded by nature’s calm—birds chirping, a gentle breeze rustling through the trees, and the sweet scent of blooming lilac bushes drifting through the air. The cabin itself was warm, welcoming, and perfectly appointed with everything I needed and decorated of cute bears and fishing poles. Mornings on the porch were absolutely magical, sipping coffee while watching the sun rise over the mountain , with nothing but the sounds of nature all around. The short walk down to the lake was like a dream—serene, scenic, and soul-soothing. Ending the day with a cozy campfire was lovely with the provided firepit.

Abigail is a very good communicator which I appreciate. We had a great stay in an awesome location.

If was a very cozy setting and I felt at home the host was responsive and friendly ! She was great person it was beautiful in salmon!!

This is the perfect place to stay for a weekend fishing trip. Plenty of parking for trucks towing boats, and end of road privacy. A fresh layer of gravel had just been applied so the road was in great shape. Sandhill cranes were performing their courtship ritual near the pond in the morning hours, and turkeys showed up and began to strut and gobble, made for a great show. The neighbors have the worlds sweetest border collie that wiggles by the door every morning and helps us wake up and an get on the river. Small steelhead can be seen spawning in the creek behind the house, and whitetail deer are literally everywhere. This is one of the most peaceful places I've ever stayed, great place to unwind, especially if you enjoy watching wildlife.

Amazing cabin! John’s place is immaculate, and I had a great stay. Quiet location with beautiful views. John was very responsive and hope to stay here again in the future.

Curtis is a very responsive and helpful host!! I absolutely loved my stay here and would recommend it to anyone. You get the most amazing bang for your buck with this location, whether you’re in the area to see the hot-springs or just want to relax in a clean and comfy space with gorgeous mountain views. For the price, I’d pay just to come and sit on Curtis’ patio and stare at the mountains. Grab a burger or chicken fried steak, french fries with fry sauce at the Dusty Mule if you book here!

It’s easy to write how beautiful the Salmon, ID area is because it is. So easy to feel small. And that’s important. Cozy cabin a few miles outside of town. Clean. Very clean. Quiet. Two bathrooms and four beds. Can easily accomodate 4 grown men, because it did. The kitchen was awesome. And usable. If you wanted to cook most of your meals there it would be very easy. We had a great stay and can happily recommend without hesitation. Enjoy!

my dog and I took a random trip to Salmon and upon arrival, I discovered all pet friendly hotels were booked. I sent a quick message to John that I was in town and within 10 minutes he okayed my arrival. His cabin is beautiful with so much attention to the little comforting things. He has thought of everything you could possibly need and made it all available without having to ask. So much gratitude to he and his wife for providing such a peaceful evening that started out very stressful

Everything was great from check in to check out. We enjoyed the spacious living room and kitchen and outdoor patio. The home was equipped with everything we needed. We were very comfortable and relaxed. The only negative was neighbors playing loud music until 2:30am and being located off the hwy which wasn’t too busy.

I had a great stay at Chelsea’s! Would highly recommend and book again. Easy drive to Lost Trail for some snowboarding and an easy walk down to town for dinner. 10/10!

Tracy’s home is amazing! It is in a private peaceful location with beautiful views. We were greeted with a delicious, locally baked peach pie and clear instructions for the home. Tracy has thought of everything to provide large groups a comfortable enjoyable stay. There is so much to do and absolutely anything you need to provide for a big group of people. We were visiting Salmon to celebrate our daughter’s wedding and wanted to be able to be with friends and family as much as we could. Tracy’s home was perfect! It has such a great feeling. You can tell there is a lot of thoughtfulness and love put into this home. The amenities are unbelievable. Our tired and cranky four year old discovered a small basket of toys which provided her with QUIET playtime for hours. We enjoyed the kayaks on the river and had an awesome evening visiting by the fire pit under an amazing starry sky. It was such a gift to be able to relax and enjoy or loved ones. We did not want to leave!

Amazing stay! The place is so peaceful and it was very clean. The directions for arrival were clear and helpful.

My husband and I spent a romantic weekend in the Carriage House at the Greyhouse Inn and we loved it. We'd definitely stay there again. The lilac bushes were blooming and I especially loved the jacuzzi with a stunning view of the mountains. The cabin is smallish and cozy with a comfortable pullout bed if you need it. The onsite manager, Brit, was especially friendly and responsive. My husband left his tennis shoes and she promptly mailed them to us. The Greyhouse Inn is also very close to Gold Bug Hot Springs and not far from Salmon. Highly recommend the Carriage House!

Staying in the Clark Cabin was one of the highlights of my road trip. Absolutely perfect! The cabin was exactly what I wanted, warm, comfortable, cozy and had everything I needed. Beautiful location, lush grounds, quiet and peaceful. The host and on-site management are kind, helpful and wonderful people (and they are happy to be there and help). I am already planning a trip back to stay there again.

The overall experience was great! My only regret is not getting to stay longer.
