Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century. It has a kitchenette, outside compost toilets and field shower. The dirt road to the farm is about 2km from the village of Palvarinho.
