Beachfront vacation rentals in Salema

We had an amazing stay in Filipa's Airbnb. It was very clean and well equipped and in a great location to center and beach. The check in/out was easy and Filipa responded super quick and helped with all our needs. Definitly worth the money we would stay here again.

Jonathan was a great host. Super responsive and communicative. The location is close enough to all the bars and restaurants to walk in minutes but far enough to have some quiet. The outdoor terrace was great and the whole place was clean and comfortable. We made a mistake and locked the keys in the bedroom on accident and as to get them retrieved so keep them with you at all times in case the wind blows the door closed. We’d definitely stay again!

It was just as described and such a beautiful place! Loved having the beach right outside and close to many other places ✨ Maria and Ana were also very quick to respond to any questions I had and even helped me book a transfer to the airport

Amazing place to stay. Our child felt at home here and loved it. The terrace is perfect. Great spot. Easy to find. Parking close by. Nice spots to walk. Great check in. Pedro have great instructions for arrival and was great at communicating if needed! Had great sleep at night you don’t hear any sounds outside! Also place is in between two great spots if you visit sagres and portimao 👍

Such a gem of a place. We stayed for 6 nights; I originally (mistakenly) only booked for 5 nights but the hosts were accommodating and responsive when I requested to add another night to the end of the trip. We came for my 40th birthday, and I was looking for a place right on the coast, with cliffs and ocean views. This perfectly fit the bill and I had an enchanting time. There are so many lovely spaces in the house to enjoy the views and the weather, and the hosts are responsive and send recommendations for the area.

Es war eine bezaubernde Unterkunft. Sie war groß für zwei Personen und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Je communicatie vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf was erg prettig en duidelijk – dat stelde ons erg gerust. De villa zelf is prachtig gelegen, met een schitterend uitzicht en een heerlijk zwembad waar we volop van hebben kunnen genieten. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Dankjewel voor je gastvrijheid en goede zorgen. We kijken met veel plezier terug op deze vakantie, en wie weet keren we in de toekomst nog eens terug. Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!

Highly recommend! The apartment was incredibly comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a perfect beach getaway. You can tell it’s thoughtfully set up by someone who either travels often or stays here themselves.

Overall really lovely stay! Super comfy beds, great linens, beach umbrella. Very spacious patio (really didn’t mind at all that it’s not ocean view). Situated right at the top of Praia d. Ana so you can just walk right down in a few minutes. About 10-15 min walk to old town. Condo is within quite a large condo community that was quiet and felt very safe. We had a lovely stay!

Cannot say enough about this place-would recommend every time. Walkable to fantastic restaurants and shopping, view is unbeatable. The pool was an added bonus after a day of sightseeing! Easy to access hiking, ocean activities and shops to stock up on provisions. Maria and Robert were very helpful and responsive hosts. Stop looking and book!!

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in Alvor! Francisca ist eine großartige Gastgeberin – herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Sie hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen und mit allen nötigen Informationen versorgt sind. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders toll fanden wir die bereitgestellten Spielsachen, Strandutensilien wie Schirme, Stühle und Buddelsachen – perfekt für unseren Urlaub mit Kind. Die Strände in Alvor sind wunderschön, ideal zum Baden, Spielen und Entspannen. In der Umgebung gibt es tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten – unsere Tochter war begeistert vom Dino Minigolf! Die Ferienanlage selbst bietet alles, was man braucht: Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Wonderful place with nice views from the deck, a large comfy bed, and wash machine. Very quiet street and 5 minute walk to Porto de Mos beach (which was beautiful). Easy 25-30 minute walk into downtown Lagos. Also quite enjoyed the pool and restaurant / bar (Illicit Burgers) on the premises.

Andre provided great recommendations, was very helpful and provided nice clean accommodation.

Fantastic stay. There are several AirBnb's in Iberlagos, so it was difficult to "trust" exactly what the view would be, as there are multiple buildings placed behind each other as you get further from the water/cliffs. This is the second to end unit, in Building E, which has a very clear and direct view of the ocean and piedades from the large, well appointed deck. As we wanted to spend much of our downtime relaxing on the deck - this was perfect. Great host, communication, very clean and well appointed. Take this one.

Lovely villa in the heart of Burgau. Great facilities, good parking, and restaurants and shops within walking distance. The villa was spacious and well kept, had all you needed. Miguel was very responsive when messaged. Overall great stay!

Gorgeous beach just a little walk away. Town is very nice w beach bars etc. house has awesome views. Views when in pool are not good due to wall. Suggest to maybe put up acrylic wall? Host was super responsive. We loved our stay at this very large house!

The apartment is truly perfect. Pictures speak for themselves. Location is also perfect with so many restaurants and the beach nearby and a great grocery store 500 feet away! Pascal was a wonderful host. When you contact him thru Airbnb, a message comes up saying that his typical response time is 10 min which is outstanding. In our experience it was more like 2 minutes! He is so friendly and very helpful. We had 2 minor questions during our stay (no issues!) and Pascal was so quick to help. He definitely has love for this family home and makes you feel like you are welcomed into a family members home. We hope to return some day soon!

We will be back! Claudia was great and so is her place. Love this town did not want to leave.. great beach, great restaurants, great people!

Es hat uns alles super gefallen. Carla war immer ansprechbar und vor Ort ist der Papa immer ansprechbar. Das Häuschen ist mit allem ausgestattet was auch einen längeren Aufenthalt möglich macht- für 2 Personen ideal. Die Aussicht von der kleinen Terrasse ist kaum zu übertreffen und die Ruhe und das Meeresrauschen. Parken konnten wir beim Papa. Vielen Dank noch einmal.

Wir sind als Paar verreist und haben uns im „Casa Horus - Praia da Salema“ sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung haben wir so vorgefunden, wie sie bereits vorher auf den Bildern zu sehen war. Zwar ist die Wohnung relativ klein, aber man hat alles, was man zum Wohnen braucht! Die Wohnung ist wundervoll eingerichtet und darüber hinaus sehr sauber. Einzig ein Föhn und ein Wasserkocher haben uns gefehlt. Das ist jedoch schon der einzige Kritikpunkt und insgesamt können wir die Unterkunft bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Zuletzt ist auch die Kommunikation mit Hugo hervorzuheben, die zu jedem Zeitpunkt reibungslos verlief. Wir würden auf jeden Fall dorthin zurückkommen, wenn wir wieder an der Algarve Urlaub machen.

Paulo ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Sein Apartment liegt wunderschön oberhalb der Bucht von Salema mit einem fantastischen Blick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
