Wow! It was everything that we were hoping for and more. We were amazed as this was our first visit to Lake Jocassee. First impression means everything, we were highly impressed to say the least. We were minutes away from the park entrance, 8 minutes from town, and had a quiet quaint place to stay in which we fell in love. Mary was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She accommodated us in every way. We ran into an issue with our scheduled kayak tour and she even helped us then. 10 out of 10!! We will definitely be back to Lake Jocassee as well as stay with Mary again. The Dome away from Home was perfect!

The Retreat at Laurelwood - A couple's getaway!

We came for the weekend for a Clemson football game. This is a great location and close enough to campus. The host is great and very responsive to questions. Location was perfect for the two of us. It is out in a very secluded area but not that far to area with restaurants but we brought food and the kitchen had everything we needed. There are hiking trails on property and state parks not very far away. Its very quite with no noise or light pollution...not sure I've seen that many stars before. The location has everything we needed and more. We will definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing weekend exploring Lake Jocassee. The house was stocked with firewood, toilet paper, toiletries, and tons of DVDs to pick from. The house is so close to Devil’s Fork State Park- we will definitely be back. The house and the property were the perfect space for a lake weekend and we had zero complaints. Highly recommend this spot!!

The farm house was very cute and clean. It was so fun to see horses on the property as well-we had our dog with us and he loved exploring the property as well. It was a short drive to the boat launch where there were stunning views. Gregor was very responsive, polite and helpful about local recommendations. We would definitely come back to stay!!
