Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Salamander Bay

My friend and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend sans kids and husbands. I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting a relaxing stay, with magnificent views and in walking distance to all Shoal Bay has to offer, in Shoal Bay.

This place was the perfect place to stay while attending a birthday party nearby. We were continually entertained by the attention to detail and thoughtful inclusions to make our stay enjoyable. Spinning the old vinyls on the original 1960s record player was fun. Especially loved the old Beach Boys album. Good vibrations all round! A fun, funky and different place to stay.

great space, immaculate. the owners go above and beyond to make the unit feel welcoming. extra credit for giving us the heads up that work was being conducted outside and scaffolding may block the view. the view even with some scaffolding was still amazing. it was sad we were only here for one night as the location and beach views are top notch. cheers again for the clear communication and pristine living space.

Beautiful views, seen dolphins each morning and perfect sunrises! Had some beautiful lorikeet visitors on the balcony also, honestly took 2 minutes to get from the apartment out onto the beach, such a nice quiet apartment block and location! Can’t hear any street noise , just the waves on the shore, and the wildlife 😍 The place was super clean, comfortable beds also! self check in which is perfect, makes things so easy! Lovely hosts very friendly and helpful!

Such a wonderful stay! Perfect location to take in beach walks, kiosk stops, wine breaks and incredible natural sights. Janet was an incredible host that gave us tips for the area and responded super quickly when the bluetooth speaker wasn't working, and rectified it with a new speaker within minutes. Everything was done discreetly and although the accomodation is next to the main house, it is absolutely private. The accomodation itself has the highest quality finishes and details, with the bathroom and kitchen the equivalent to what you would. build for yourself if you had a handsome budget. A washer/dryer and dishwasher were added bonuses as were the provisions for a quick breakfast and afternoon drink. The view from the balcony was better than the photos and even though it was Winter we were able to sit out and take in the morning sun. Can't recommend this accomodation enough!

Spacious tidy place within walking distance to cafes and other places. Check in was easy, the place was clean and as described. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked! Thank you so much for having us :)

Absolutely magic. The location is next-level — peaceful, private… and those views! Aside from the property being spotless, beautifully styled and with every amenity you could possibly want, Andrea made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we booked. Incredible communication, fresh sourdough from a local bakery on arrival and our groceries picked up and unpacked for us — the greatest luxury! We travelled in late Autumn, but that didn’t stop us swimming in the beautifully heated pool and curling up on the balcony with blankets. The board games were such a fun way to spend our evenings and the dog treats and beds had our pups feeling like royalty. We will absolutely be back. Beautiful location right on the beach and within walking distance to the local shops & amenities of Soldiers Point. The kayak and proper Stand Up Paddle boards were a great addition. A great place for kids and lots of areas to relax and enjoy Aperitvo on.

We had a fantastic time at Julie’s Airbnb! She was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The house was beautiful and spacious, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway. We had a fantastic stay at Marcus and Helen's property. The decor is absolutely lovely—thoughtfully chosen and welcoming, creating a real home-away-from-home vibe. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed, including quality crockery and utensils. The furniture throughout the house was very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. On top of all that, the location was ideal—peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to see and do. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Lauren’s place! Beautiful, modern interior, walking distance to Shoal Bay for restaurants, pub, bike hire or to watch the dolphins at sunset. Or for the more intrepid, lots of hiking options right out the back door. The house was so well-equipped we also spent some days enjoying the pool, pizza oven and outdoor entertaining area. Highly recommended!

Everything exactly as advertised. Clear instructions. Immaculate. Despite a rainy weekend, the house still felt warm and cozy. It had everything you could need, from a baby cot to a coffee machine, game boards, basic condiments in the kitchen, additional pillows... Loved the heat fittings in the bathrooms. Lovely back view to little forrest. Anthony was clea r with his messages. Totally smooth transaction.

This place was incredible! This holiday unit was beautiful, clean, ocean view, spacious and with all the amenities available including the pool and gym- I could not recommend this place enough. Lorraine was nice and really easy to communicate with, Thankyou for letting us stay at your place 😊

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Absolutely incredible views! I’ve recommend this place to friends and family, very clean and can not fault it at all. Grant was a pleasure to deal with! definitely would book again 🙂
