Water based recreation nearby, from tranquil on the Cure at Saint-Père, to whitewater rafting on the Chalaux as reflected in the 1940s mounted canoe frame in the living room.

The cottage is an old house completely renovated in 2019 with a terrace that offers a beautiful view of the Morvan. It is located very close to Lake Crescent and Chastellux Castle, a few kilometers from Vézelay, Avallon, Bazoches. Our region lends itself to hiking, cycling or horseback riding in unspoiled nature and allows fishing or swimming enthusiasts to indulge in their favorite pastime. La Bascule is a hamlet of Chastellux, located between Avallon and Lormes.

It is located in complete tranquility away from the road with very little traffic.
