I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Tokyo. The place was very neat and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Oji Station—making it super convenient to get around the city. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and there were plenty of local shops and restaurants nearby. Everything went smoothly during my stay, and I didn’t encounter any issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable stay in Tokyo!

My second time here. Always a pleasure. The host and place are both awesome. This time I did a mistake with my reservation, but the host and stuff helped me when I arrived so I enjoyed every single minute. Hope to come back soon!

Yuko was such a responsive and helpful host. She responded immediately almost every single time we messaged her. Yuko’s place is super nice and aesthetically pleasing and is equipped with everything you need. The place was also really clean. Location was one of the best parts as well, it’s really just a 5 minute walk from 2 stations making it super convenient to get around Tokyo. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice place to rest after long days of traveling around Tokyo. Thank you so much to Yuko for being such a good host to us. We enjoyed our stay!

This is up in the 5th floor so i would highly recommend bringing a smaller luggage. Apart from that, the room is extremely clean. Almost like brand new. It has all the amenities included too which is great! Station is only 5 minutes away and lots of restaurants and stores nearby. If you're renting a car, there's a paid parking next to it but there are only two slots. I'll definitely choose this place again for future trips!

Yusuke’s compact place was very befitting and met all the needs of a tourist traveller. Very close to metro station Itabashi Honcho, spotless clean, complete utilities and a very responsive host. We would hugely recommend it for fellow travellers. Thanx for having us.

친구들과 푹 쉬다갑니다 ㅎㅎㅎ 4인이 묵었는데 4인이 묵기 딱 좋고(욕실 1개등...) 5-6인까지도 가능할거같아요 수건은 빨아써야하는불편함?이 있지만 세제와 세탁기+건조기, 건조대까지있어 생각보다 불편하진않았습니다

Thank you Tomoko to let us stay at Comfort Shimo. We enjoy to stay here. Near lawson, aeon and sevel. Walk 850m to akabane station there are some interesting store. Nice food, book off, book store, don't forget to eat seasonal mister donuts. There also have Donki, gu, uniqlo, tutuanna. There is kitchen origin around 300 m From Comfort shimo or 40 meter from shimo metro exit 2. No need bring so much clothes because Tomoko provide washing machine with automatic dryer. Wash the clothes morning and evening we already have fresh clothes. So we can purchase more items at akihabara, Donki, Matsumoto.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement typique et plein de charme. L’endroit est fidèle à l’ambiance traditionnelle japonaise, avec des tatamis au sol et des futons pour dormir, ce qui nous a permis de vivre une vraie expérience locale. Les futons sont peut-être un peu fins, donc on sent parfois la fermeté du sol, mais cela reste tout à fait gérable pour quelques nuits. Nous avons aussi adoré pouvoir découvrir les bains publics (sento) du quartier — une expérience unique et authentique qui a beaucoup ajouté à notre séjour. Je tiens à remercier tout particulièrement nos hôtes, qui ont été extrêmement réactifs et bienveillants même après la fin du séjour. Ils nous ont aidés avec un souci rencontré une fois rentrés chez nous, et leur aide a été précieuse. Leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse méritent vraiment d’être soulignées. Merci encore à eux ! Je recommande ce logement à toute personne souhaitant vivre un séjour immersif, simple et authentique au Japon.

優點：距離支點車站極近，到池袋車站約10分鐘可抵達，轉乘方便。餐廳、小店家、超商超市、藥妝店、美容院等等生活機能十分完善。 缺點：因民宿可能為早期建置，木製房屋聲響容易較大，需放輕腳步，廁所與浴室只有各一間，人數較多時需要排隊，因為鄰近車站，火車聲音會稍微明顯些。 在這裡的六個晚上，孩子家人在遊戲室與房間都過得非常愉快，設備也都非常齊全，非常感謝房東總是能夠盡快的回覆處理🥰非常開心第一次的東京之旅有滿滿的收穫❤️

Yasuhikoさん非常友好，在我们入住前就发送了很多有用的周边信息。对我们的要求和问题回复也很及时，任何时候你都可以信任Yasuhikoさん。我们很喜欢Yasuhikoさん的公寓，干净整洁漂亮，像家里一样舒服，阳台也很宽敞，让住宿空间更通透舒适。有机会有话还想再次入住Yasuhikoさん的公寓

숙소는 매우 깔끔하고, 쉬기 좋았습니다. 주방을 이용할 수 있어 음식을 조리해 먹기도 했구요. 호스트의 응답도 빨라 편리했습니다. 다만, 숙소의 위치상 편의점을 도보로 이용하기 거의 불가능 하다는 단점이 있습니다. 하지만 댜안으로 편의점 대신 동네 슈퍼, 역 근처의 마트를 이용할 수 있거, 이 가격에 이 정도로 훌륭한 숙소에서 쉴 수 있다는 걸 생각하면 그리 거슬리는 단점은 아닙니다! 추천합니다~

I stayed for little over a week at this apartment with 3 siblings. Our experience was superb. The host went above and beyond, answering our concerns within an instant. The apartment is thoughtfully designed to make efficient use of the space. Since we stayed more than 7 days, we recieved a free cleaning to freshen our space. A huge plus for us at this apartment is that the host has arranged staff to sort and dispose of the trash, which was a massive relief for us. There is also a coin laundry less than a block away, so we were able to have clean laundry on our return flight. There is the Aeon Shopping Mall within 15 min with affordable prices compared to the city. The station nearby connects to Ikkebukuro which connects to the rest of the city, so the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. A steamer for clothes, hair drier, towels, hangers, slippers-- all, and more were provided. I'd recommend this apartment to anyone looking for value, quality, safety, and convenience.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy apartment in a quiet neighborhood near Gotanno Station. The room isn’t big, but it truly felt like home. It had everything we needed, from a kitchen and washing machine to thoughtful touches like a first aid kit and in-room baggage storage. The area is peaceful yet super convenient, with several convenience stores and a large supermarket nearby. Gotanno Station is just a short 3–5 minute walk away and offers a direct line to Ueno, with easy transfers to other major lines. The host and co-host were incredibly responsive and helpful, especially with local recommendations. We’d definitely stay here again if we get the chance! Emiko is a fantastic host. She made me and my husband feel right at home. Any time I had a question, she responded right away and took care of things for us to our complete satisfaction. The apartment is in a great location, close to the train station, supermarket, a Lawson store right next door where we could go down any time of the day or night and purchase food and items. The area is quiet at night and we slept great. The bed was so comfortable, with wonderful soft cotton sheets -- an important item that is not always available. There are also interesting places to eat in the neighborhood, including an Indian restaurant. A few blocks away is a small bath house and a twenty minute walk to a large onsen. We loved staying at Emiko's and highly recommend The Secret Base.

The flat was really small but cute. We were a group of 4 and there was enough space for all of us. Some of the furniture/ decoration that could be seen on the photos weren’t there but nothing important was missing. One Important fact would be that airbnb lists this house in shibuya but as the description says, it’s in itabashi which is about 1,5h away. Still it’s really easy to get there!! Peaceful area and overall a very pleasant experience! ^^

静かな住宅街の中にあり、とても落ち着いた環境で快適に滞在することができました。周囲も穏やかで、夜も静かに過ごせたのが印象的です。最寄り駅は都営三田線の高島平駅または西台駅で、どちらも徒歩10分ほどとアクセスも良好でした。都心への移動にも便利で、観光や用事の際にも困ることはありませんでした。 お部屋は広々としていて清潔感があり、ゆったりとくつろげる空間です。設備も整っており、長期の滞在でも不自由なく過ごせそうだと感じました。機会があれば、またぜひ利用したいと思います。

très bien renseignés aussi bien pour l'accès au logement qu'aux activités et lieux que nous voulions voir. le logement est tout petit et pratique pour une personne seule ou un couple (les escaliers et échelle pour le couchage peuvent être compliqués avec des enfants ou personnes âgées par exemple) bien situé et très calme, agréable pour passer de bonnes nuits de sommeil après la découverte du Japon 😁
