House vacation rentals in Saint-Victor-la-Coste

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

A nice house located in a very beautiful area. The house has all the necessary comforts, it is decorated with care. The only small downside is the pillows, which are really too flat. We were delighted to stay in this house and to have been able to enjoy the pool.

The villa is surrounded by quintessential Provence countryside and the views are spectacular. The villa is very comfortable inside and is finished to a very high standard. The pool is large and the garden is beautifully maintained, making the outdoor spaces very pleasant to relax in. We were just a couple with a young baby, but the villa would be ideal for a larger group. The village of Villedieu is a short (5-10 min) walk down the hill, and is very pretty and peaceful. There is a nice square where you can sit and have a drink, and there is also an Epicerie for essentials. Other recommendations include: Châteauneuf-du-Pape (particularly Le Verger des Papes), Avignon and Pont du Gard, which are all within driving distance (45 mins to 1 hr). The host (Simon) also had some other good recommendations.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

We had a fantastic stay! The house was beautiful, very good and quiet location, dog friendly and everything you could dream of. After each excursion, we looked forward to returning to the house and the beautiful swimming pool. Morgane was super friendly and always available! We had a very nice time with 2 families (4 adults, 4 teens). The tasteful farmhouse with its well-kept garden and its very large pool are a great oasis of relaxation. Everyone had retreat options and shady places were also sufficiently available. We didn't miss anything. The location is very good for excursions to the main attractions. However, you have to plan about 1.5 hours to get to the beach. Adrien & Helene welcomed us very nicely and were easily reachable for questions. We will be happy to come back!

The accommodation, the area, the location, the property with the olive trees and the pool area overlooking Entrechaux are a true dream. We really liked the very pleasantly furnished house, especially the great bedroom. The outdoor area of the private house with terrace, lounge, beautiful stone table and huge lawn with hammock and deck chairs are wonderful and invite you to linger forever. It couldn't be more beautiful and better. A bottle of their own wine awaits in the house and we were surprised with fresh cherries and homemade muffins for the journey home. A short walk away, you can eat well in the village, have a drink and shop for the essentials in the store as well as in a great bakery. The location is perfect for exploring the area by road bike. The accommodation can be fully recommended. I'm sure we'll be back.

Absolutely blown away by our stay at this stunning villa in Séguret. The villa is spacious and filled with charm, perfectly nestled in one of the most picturesque villages in Southern France. Our host Jean Luc was incredibly helpful in making recommendations and providing local tips to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. This has been one of the most memorable and magical stays we’ve ever had and we highly recommend this property.

The accommodation is very tastefully decorated. The large terrace above the river Sorgue with plenty of sun until the evening is great. The picturesque town with many restaurants and shops is a 10-minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Nicolas responded very quickly to our questions. The place is highly recommended!

This is a luxury property. It is beautifully landscaped and the pool was large and inviting. In fact we mixed our plans one day to chill outside. The kitchen has what is needed to prepare meals. The bedrooms are well appointed and the bathrooms are more accommodating than a hotel room. The surrounding town is lovely. Quieter than others in Provence. We would definitely return and recommend. Andre was the consummate host.

We had a wonderful stay in Sylvie's apartment in France. We particularly liked the wonderful tranquility, which provided the perfect setting for relaxation. The pool was a real highlight – ideal for relaxing on warm days. Personally, I was very enthusiastic about the coffee machine – a small detail, but one that contributed a lot to the feel-good factor. The apartment was excellently equipped, nothing was really missing. We especially liked that even coffee was available – a loving gesture that we greatly appreciated. Overall, we can recommend the accommodation with a clear conscience and from the heart. Thank you, Sylvie, for the wonderful time!

This is a beautiful private property in glorious surroundings. It’s surrounded by lilac and rosemary plants and the constant buzzing of the bees and the sound of the cicadas is Provence perfection. The property is in glorious solitude and beautiful countryside with a majestic castle 5 minutes walk along with a small cobble street village. It’s a class act. Loved every minute and Catherine is a wonderful host who responds immediately. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property and her wonderful olive oil. 5 stars plus

We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful farmhouse in Suze-la-Rousse! The home is beautiful—spacious, stylish, and super comfortable. The hosts were really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a private chef during one evening (recommended by Anais) and he was absolutely incredible. The house came with plenty of linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and all the BBQ equipment we could need. There were also extra services available that made the whole experience even more special. Honestly, it was the perfect stay. Huge thanks to the hosts for making my partners 40th one to remember ☺️

We really enjoyed our stay at Corinnes property. It was great to have our own private river access during our stay as it was warm at the time of visiting in June. The jacuzzi was also a hit! Corinne provided many essentials and a beautiful basket of local produce including tapanade and jam. She was very accommodating for our group which included a baby and allowed us early check in and departure so he could nap at home. All cookware required was available for when we wanted to cook a meal at home and the fridge had a cold water and ice machine. Beds were all comfy and each room had its own bathroom. Very good welcome, available. The place is very nice, beautiful view, pleasant garden to recharge. There is nothing lacking in equipment. Very clean. We had a great stay!
