We had a wonderful weekend stay at Gerard and Lorette’s holiday home in the beautiful Baie de Somme. The house has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare delicious meals, which made family dinners a real pleasure. All in all, it was the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway. Upon arrival, we are greeted by Sébastien and discover our charming accommodation. The stay went well. The accommodation is very nice, well furnished, bright and clean. However, a few points need to be reviewed, the most annoying being the water leak from the ground floor toilets (reported from day one). It is absolutely necessary to review the operation of the main door lock, we were afraid that the latch would remain in our hand and it was very difficult to lock the door. On the kitchen side, "non-stick" pans are not compatible with the induction hob, the others are very "sticky". The toilet seat on the first floor is loose. The laundry room door rubs on the tiles and doesn't close properly. We point out these few details to help maintain the quality of the accommodation and they do not affect the pleasure of staying there.

Excellent hosting from Alexandre, who is a very friendly host. Everything was perfect, clean, the special touch on arrival included. The "Hélène" gîte accommodation, for the 3 couples that we were, ideal, located just a 10-minute walk from the city center. Beautiful terrace even though, from May 16 to 19, the BBQ was not yet in season. We also recommend Alexandre's restaurant "La Ferte" where we enjoyed very good food.

We were received by Christian, very kind, very attentive, very explicit . Very responsive when you need advice or information. Very well located accommodation and the best garage. Everything is close by, shops , restaurants , a walk on the bay and the famous Sunday market. Very nice apartment , functional, spacious, beautiful decoration, impeccable cleanliness. You can go there without a second thought. We'll be happy to go back.

The stay in Merlimont at Louis' was very nice. The key could be picked up and returned to a lockbox. Louis was always quickly accessible and very friendly. The apartment is nicely decorated and everything was clean. The view of the sea was of course beautiful. You can park in front of the door for free. In the apartment, there are also some cleaning items, including a vacuum cleaner and mop, which is of course especially practical when staying with a dog :) The kitchen is also well equipped if you like to cook yourself. We felt very comfortable here and would book the apartment again at any time if we were to go in that direction again.

We had a lovely stay in Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme. The accommodation is ideally located to enjoy the Baie-de-Somme, as described and well-equipped. Communication with the host went smoothly. We would recommend this listing.

Warm welcome in a neat, clean and perfect accommodation for 2 people. Everything is thought of to make you feel almost at home. Maryse is attentive, responds to our requests if possible, and takes the time to give good advice. Free bicycles provided, but unfortunately we didn't use them because there was too much wind during our 5-day stay. No bike paths in Pende, you have to drive 3-4 km to reach it. A completely enclosed and very well furnished courtyard allows you to enjoy an outdoor space (indirect access for 2 people accommodation). Saint Valéry sur Somme is a very beautiful village, with a Sunday morning market that is worth a visit (an old gentleman sells very good stuffed waffles). Le Crotoy is also very nice. The other villages are only worth it for their beaches with the cabins. Further afield, Le Tréport and Mers-les-Bains are also worth seeing. Take a zodiac boat trip or a hike to see the seals.

The views are absolutely stunning and the calm is very soothing. We enjoy it without moderation from the living room/kitchen, and the nice terrace, even larger and more pleasant than in the photos. Furthermore, the geographical location is perfect, minutes from the beach and the historic center. Very hard to do better. And a real bonus, you can park there without problems, even with 2 cars. We quickly felt at home, and we didn't want to leave. For all these benefits, we will undoubtedly come back if we can. If I had to give a few suggestions for improvement, there might be an overall refreshment to be planned, especially the bathroom (if only to change the shower head). With this and a little more careful decoration, we will achieve perfection!

Elisabeth's apartment is super well located, right in the center, on the waterfront. It's very nice, you feel really good there. We had a great time and would highly recommend it. Elisabeth is also very responsive and offered us all the flexibility that our arrival by bike required. An excellent experience!
