Family-friendly vacation rentals in Saint-Romain-sur-Cher

A wonderful family weekend in this fabulous place! There's nothing missing! The cottage is superb, the environment is perfect. We were lucky enough to have great sunshine, which allowed us to fully enjoy the pool and garden. Close to places of interest. Small house, clean, practical, nothing missing. The owners are easily reachable and help as much as they can in the event of any problems. The hot tub was extra. The pool area is pleasant and well appointed. Very well located, it allows you to make beautiful visits nearby: Chambord, the castle of Villesavin, Cheverny, the activities of Loisirs Loire Valley, rent bikes,… With our 3-year-old child, it was an excellent destination.

We offered 3 unforgettable days to our children and grandchildren!!!! Obviously with the sun, the hot pool was occupied from morning to night!!! The welcome and arrangements with Elodie, allowed me to enjoy my whole family!

impeccable hosting and cottage

Just returned from a short stay at a truly unique and historic manor house tucked in the French countryside. The views were absolutely stunning, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like stepping back in time. The host has beautifully preserved the original interiors—complete with antique furnishings and fabric-covered walls—giving the home so much character and charm. The kitchen, however, is thoughtfully updated and well-stocked with everything needed to cook wonderful meals while soaking in the beauty of the setting. We wish we had more time to simply relax and take it all in!

We have just had the best 12 days staying at Oliver's stunning garden room. The accomodation was perfect, the garden stunning & the hot tub was a treat after a day exploring the area. Oliver reccomended some great places to visit that we may not have gone to as there are so many great places to visit. We had the pleasure of having a drink with Oliver & Marie before we left which was lovely way to end our stay....merci Oliver 🙂 We would reccomend staying at Oliver's to anyone & you would love it 👍🏻🙂

Great cottage very well located in the area in relation to castles and zoo. The view of nature from the veranda is just amazing and allows you to rest in peace. Tastefully decorated and well-equipped house for the whole family. Our daughter and our dog and ourselves were very delighted. We would definitely recommend this property.

For all those who are looking for a special lovingly furnished "cave accommodation" in nature where nothing is missing during the stay, a clear recommendation! We were there for 3 days and did many activities (castle visits, canoe trips, wine tastings,...) and the children were very enthusiastic about living in a grotto. Thank you to Carole & David for letting us use your "nest."

Chantal’s place was beautiful. Lovely furnishings and decor. The view was unbelievable and both rooms were equally comfortable. The sound of the Loire going under the bridge lulled you to sleep. The quality of the bedding was top notch! We enjoyed meeting Chantal and loved her energy. Highly recommend!

Very nice house in the countryside in a quiet area for a relaxing stay with a very good welcome from Yvon.

Bernadette is very welcoming. Despite the heat wave, the room was relatively cool. We spent two nights and slept very well. The longère is set in a very quiet hamlet.

This place was Spacious; very Spacious for just my husband and I. Loved It!! Walking distance for a lot of stores and restaurants. If You really want to treat yourself go to Le Reserve-it was amazing!! Get the Apple for dessert. Eating at and living near the Clock Tower and an easy walk to the Chateau d’ Amboise was perfect. Take a cold bottle of water if you’re walking to Leonardo Di Vinci’s home. It’s worth the walk, but it is a workout, especially with no Cold Water. The chime on the Clock Tower at the 1/2 hr made me smile. Reminded me I was in France every-time! I think it stopped at 6 pm daily. I would not only return I would live here!! Merci

Clean and well appointed accommodation. For a weekend with family close to Chenonceau Castle and Beauval Zoo, and a small lake with games just a stone's throw from the accommodation, which our children enjoyed.

Great welcome by our host in the accommodation, great location! What a pleasure to find some delicious homemade cake after our bike trip! Roselyne is adorable, very responsive and very helpful following an oversight on our part. It would be a real pleasure to return!

Great stay under the sun. The pool and large outdoor table are great. The kids had everything they needed to have fun. The hens had little chicks during our stay to the delight of the children. I highly recommend this listing There are also many tours and walks to do nearby.

The cottage is very comfortable and has a very pleasant and peaceful setting. We had a bachelor party and were able to fully enjoy the available space, whether inside to play board games or outside with the barbecue and brazero. We had a great time at Severine and Stephane's place. The setting is beautiful. The accommodation is perfectly equipped. The bedding is of good quality. There's nothing missing. It feels like home. Our hosts were very friendly and thank you again to Severine for her kind attention upon arrival. Relaxation is total and outdoor games are a plus. Ideal if you have a dog with the large garden totally fenced. We'll be happy to go back!

Really great stay. A host who answers all the questions you might have in advance. Super detailed instructions and tips that make the stay as easy as possible. Airbnb is REALLY designed for the customer. Hypoallergenic dishwashing liquid to suit EVERYONE, small tupperwares available for those who wish to take a snack with them and so on. Very friendly and responsive host. Special mention for Chipo, who was a quality neighbor during our stay!
