Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Remèze

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Our best experience with Airbnb. This home is great for a long stay. It has absolutely everything you need. We felt right at home for 4 weeks. Valérie welcomed us with great kindness. The location of the house is ideal for visiting the area. We recommend this property warmly. We'll definitely be back.

FANTASTIC, one of our most beautiful accommodations in the Ardeche! No frills, lots of wood and sustainable materials. Many special features in and around the house: sleeping in sheep's wool; a toilet that doesn't need a window... and it's so easy to save water: shower head with color change. Healthy indoor climate - no air conditioning is needed here. Pleasantly cool inside even at over 30 degrees outside temperature. Secluded garden behind the house - you are practically sitting in the oak forest! Great location, absolutely quiet - we'll be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ a rare find in absolute calm! The house, pool and view are wonderful. You should know that you are in the middle of nature, away from bakeries and supermarkets, it is better to arrive with the groceries already done. On the other hand, a few minutes from the house, you can buy organic wine and honey;-) The house is very beautiful, as in the photos and the kitchen is equipped with everything to cook thoroughly. Hikes are possible directly from the house. At night, a dreamy starry sky. In summary: exactly what is expected from the ardèche⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Second stay at Pierre & Sarah and the house is just as fabulous as it was the first time. Attentive yet discrete hosts, gorgeous surroundings. We will be back!

We had a fantastic time in Fab's house... far too short a time as it turned out... so much to see, do and discover in the Ardèche which is beautiful. Fabrice had a host of great walking, swimming and visiting recommendations... the suggested visit to Plage du Cirque de Gens was wonderful for swimming, relaxing and jumping off rocks. Definitely a place we need to revisit for a lot longer...

The four of us (with two children) spent one night in Philippe's apartment in transit. Everything was as described and we were able to recover very well for the onward journey.

Ideal location for a pleasant stay in the countryside. Guy and his wife are very charming and welcoming hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We had an unexpected break at Cinthia's. Every detail is designed for our well-being. We had a great time sharing and laughing. We discovered lots of relaxation devices that we can easily buy. We weren't able to try everything in 3 days, it's too short. We'll be back, we have to.

For nature lovers, I really recommend Françoise and Serge's accommodation. Very peaceful and comfortable. We thank Françoise and Serge for the special touches, strawberries and apricots, delicious.

Charming cozy cottage tastefully furnished, very well equipped, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable bedding. Perfect set-up for couple. The hosts are warm, the hospitality and responsiveness are impeccable and good recommendations. Very well located, it is both easy to reach Bagnols for shops while being surrounded by nature with lots of possible hikes nearby and beautiful sites to visit. Big plus for the stove with the wood provided, the flames are comforting in the cold season. We had a great time between beautiful hikes and rest by the fire.

With us, it was mainly Jane, his wife, the hostess. Very friendly, explained everything about the birds(our interest) and places to visit. Was visibly happy with us as a guest. The place is breathtakingly beautiful and quiet! The entrance to our house smells delicious through all the blooming roses and jasmine. The only downside we found was that you have to shower in the bathtub. But that was not bad for 1 work.

We spent one night with the family at Valerie's, we were just passing through. The house is great, clean, functional! Valérie welcomed us very warmly, with kindness. Why not come back and stay longer next time!

Beautiful place. Very authentic, decorated with great taste. Great for a large family or families. It was our first time in the region, and I wish I had researched it a bit more before going because you have to know where to go. Some villages and places are stunning, and some other areas you have to avoid. Overall I would really recommend.

We had a super nice week in this beautiful holiday home. We were welcomed by the owners with the stove already on and some goodies on the table. The owners live next to the holiday accommodation and they will give you a warm welcome. There was also friendly contact during our stay. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of touches. Really a dream house with a large garden and views. It is very quietly located and you really feel at home. The village of Labeaume can be visited on foot, is a nice walk from the house. We also went to Avignon for a day, a short drive, but worth it. The Indy Park climbing park is also recommended. The bakery and a small supermarket are close by, in Ruoms you will find a large supermarket. There is plenty to do in the area. Dear Laure and Benoït, Thank you for the super nice week we were allowed to spend in your holiday home!

The atmosphere there is really great. It is very quiet and feels like it is in the middle of nature. Nevertheless, the great bakery, a small supermarket and a nice restaurant are within a five-minute walk. The vintage style of the furnishings and the garden with two terraces and pool make the stay perfect. The pool is even bigger than it looks in the pictures. Lézan is very village-like but well suited as a starting point for excursions. The tips and advice from Fabrice were very helpful. We felt very comfortable there and it has everything you need for a vacation. Be sure to visit the organic winemaker next door and buy wine!

Everything was perfect during this week! Fabienne and Jean-Philippe are very nice people. The welcome we received on arrival was of high quality and their availability throughout the stay was flawless. The house in the middle of the natural park is ideal for getting away. a wonderful weekend for 8 adults, time for annual reunions. A very beautiful outdoor garden overlooking the lavender fields. It all starts with a warm welcome from the owners (who live on site but are very discreet!). A beautiful and very well-equipped house, both inside and outside! An incredible swimming pool and petanque molky volleyball activities that allow you to stay all weekend in the middle of the greenery. Very good memories, thank you to Myriam and Pascal!
